What a start!

End of Over 1: 15-0, runrate=15.00, reqrunrate=3.94 (207-10)
Gillespie 1-0-11-0
Mapes* 11 (4 balls)
Hume 0 (2 balls)

0.6 lb4 Gillespie to Hume
What a bouncer! And it's a good thing Hume is wearing a helmet. That clipped the top of his head and ran away for 4 leg byes. Batsman and bowler give each other the evil eye from about 3 yards before Gillespie stomps back, muttering something.
0.5 . Gillespie to Hume
Some lift there, over the stumps, batsman not tempted to swing at it.
0.4 3 Gillespie to Mapes
Flighted full, reverse swept through third man.
0.3 4 Gillespie to Mapes
Beautiful cover drive! His captain will be pleased if he continues to play like that.
0.2 . Gillespie to Mapes
Big swing, big appeal, big disappointment for Gillespie.
0.1 4 Gillespie to Mapes
Cut away for four.

End of Over 35: 184-6, runrate=5.26, reqrunrate=1.60 (207-10)
Fearns 8-0-38-1
Mears* 56 (76 balls)
Scholes 4 (30 balls)

Uh Oh! Slight collapse here, but Scholes, a worthless batsman with worthless concentration, has stayed in for 30 balls against a good bowling attack on a cracked pitch. The 50 partnership is up!

EDIT: Just as I speak, Mears is out!! Another worthless batsman comes in !! This is a close game.

Update:
36.5 W Fearns to Leighton
Good length delivery on off stump, it's gone the other way but the batsman hasn't picked it! OUT!
Aargh! I'm going to lose now. 20 runs needed with 2 wickets in hand.

EDIT, next ball:
36.6 . Fearns to Barker
Barker has charged down the pitch and had a big swing at that one but missed it completely. Stumped? No! Blewett has dropped it.
What drama!!

My openers survived the first 10 overs! :)

End of Over 10: 43-0, runrate=4.30
Drayton 5-0-20-0
Sheikh* 18 (32 balls)
Raza 20 (29 balls)
Hopefully they'll begin to up the pace

EDIT- Heres the 11th over

10.6 3 Deane to Raza
Great cover drive beats the inner ring, Raza comes back for three.
10.5 1 Deane to Sheikh
Managed to steer to deep backward point, Delop running wide to field.
10.4 1 Deane to Raza
Guides it away past mid on for a single.
10.3 1 Deane to Sheikh
Played down to third man for the single.
10.2 1 Deane to Raza
Gently played down to long on and the fielder runs wide to get the ball.
10.1 3 Deane to Sheikh
An heroic dive by Atkinson on the deep square leg boundary saves four. The crowd give him a warm round of applause.

Update: What a game!
39.3 W Faldo to Barker
Barker went for the slog sweep and the ball spun up, hit his helmet, struck Blewett's shoe and fell into Blewett's hands. The Umpire slowly raises his finger.

Blewett makes up for his previous mistake. Last batsman walks in with 10 runs to win!!

Update: 2 runs to win with 1 wicket left and ................ 12 dot balls in a row!! How annoying.

Edit: They get one more, scores are tied!

Update: The Cricket Geniuses WIN !!!
Boom CCC 207-10
Cricket Geniuses 208-9
Angell* 5 (12 balls)
Scholes 14 (60 balls)

What a great game for Scholes! A worthless batsman with worthless concentration lasted sixty balls while most of the others failed. Add to that, he got 4 wickets in the first innings!

Reminiscent to my Tuckett innings a while back ay? :)
Hey, Rabble, whats the score now? Battrick is't working for me.

Not looking too great. Seems like a decent batting strip. Crouch should have some fun today...

Lol I wish Nguyen-lee could bowl a few more overs he's got figures of 10-0-59-0

Aitkinson is bowling well too and gets the best commentary line so far :)-
33.5 . Atkinson to Raza
Ooooh, vicious bouncer from Atkinson, he stares down Raza to intimidate him, Raza blows him a kiss and they both crack up laughing. That's nice to see, if a little scary.

Nguyen-lee really didn't impress. Thankfully Crouch and Drayton still have overs in hand :)
