End of Over 20: 91-0, runrate=4.55
Zakauddin 5-0-16-0
Burke* 49 (59 balls)
Noble 40 (61 balls)

End of Over 26: 143-0, runrate=5.50
Chikosi 8-0-47-0
Cornes* 78 (71 balls)
Anthony 61 (87 balls)

nice, should blast more when (if) mampe and cox come in

atlast Spector gets us our well deserved wicket...bowlers are doing a great job but still need more wickets...my trainee spinner(armstrong) is bowling superbly and it is a matter of time before he get a wicket or two...

End of Over 26: 104-1, runrate=4.00
Armstrong 3-1-3-0
Noble* 45 (76 balls)
Jeffrey 4 (13 balls)

another wicket goes to Spector...

30.3 W Spector to Noble
Brilliant dive from Spector off his own delivery, he flew then - get that man a cape.

Armstrong still going great...but still no wickets for him...
Armstrong 5-1-6-0

looking alright still...

End of Over 31: 116-2, runrate=3.74
Spector 9-0-33-2
Jeffrey* 13 (28 balls)
Chorley 0 (3 balls)

Unlucky Zain, lost by 11 runs.
Well, me vs. Embi. I batted first:
End of Over 18: 67-7, runrate=3.72, reqrunrate=5.66 (247-6)
Tuckett 4-2-7-1
Ifill* 6 (18 balls)
Abeyagunawardene 15 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Long c. Shipp b. Tuckett 11 (FOW: 56/7)
Good contributions all over. Spearitt got a fifty, and Finlayson and Crouch were lethal towards the end of the innings. Not the biggest of scores, but seems big enough. Rudi 4 wickets, Folkes 2.

I just played the greatest game of my BT career.

The opposition batted first and ran up 314 against my young and inexperienced bowlers. My openers gave me a solid foundation, but we were still floundering at 191/4 at the end of the 35th over. Enter into the equation Mr. Morris, a 29-year old serving as a temporary place holder. With the required run rate up to 9, Morris and Toney, a reliable middle-order batsmen, put on an amazing partnership taking us to 312/4, only for Toney to fall in the penultimate over. But, luckily, Morris hit the winning runs in the final over to seal the match for us. Brilliant and unexpected stuff, considering we were playing a better team at their home ground.

Heh you only needed 82 :p

I think my bowlers worked pretty well, I knew Long was going to be costly so i put him in 5 on very defensive and guess what, he took 3 wickets!
2 stumpings and a catch for Osmond too, good game for him.

My batting was ok, 81 could be alot worse against a proficient bowling lineup. A few ducks floating around (think a bathtub :p).

So congrats to Zorax...

I won by 10 wickets against Sri Krishna, a bad bowling performance let them up to over 230. Despite that, my openers Chinthaka and McCormick, who was opening experimentally, saw us through with Chinthaka getting 100.

Yes, that 230 score was really a bit high! And it was disappointing that we couldnt manage a wicket atleast, but thats the way it goes! :)

Code:
End of Over 11: 36-1, runrate=3.27, reqrunrate=2.49 (132-10)
Hope	6-0-19-1
Coppinger*	13 (39 balls)
Myall	18 (24 balls)
looks like an easy win for my first cup game :)

My first game, bowlers conceded a fair bit but been a good start by my openers.

End of Over 2: 17-0, runrate=8.50, reqrunrate=5.58 (284-4)
Thompson 1-0-7-0
Weaver* 8 (6 balls)
North 8 (7 balls)

One of my bowlers, North 10-0-85-1

Is that your first ever BT game? Cause dam thats a good bowling effort.

Oh ok that makes more sense then, it's a very good attack from what I see.

Update on my game

End of Over 8: 47-0, runrate=5.88, reqrunrate=5.67 (284-4)
Thompson 4-0-24-0
Weaver* 23 (26 balls)
North 23 (23 balls)
7.6 2 Thompson to North
Edged it down to third man and they run two.
7.5 4 Thompson to North
Shot of the day for me; an exquisite cover drive races all the way to the boundary. North doesn't even think about running and holds the pose for the photographers. Nice.
7.4 1 Thompson to Weaver
Pushed into the vacant gully area.
7.3 . Thompson to Weaver
He played that well because it stayed very low.
7.2 1 Thompson to North
On the front foot, managed to work it around to the deep mid wicket region.
7.1 1 Thompson to Weaver
Wide of off and smacked into the covers. The sweeper does the fielding.

End of Over 15: 79-2, runrate=5.27, reqrunrate=2.31 (159-10)
Verde 1-0-5-0
Lee* 56 (53 balls)
Mapes 13 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Patterson c. Barton b. Hutchinson 6 (FOW: 38/2)

I was batting so well then collapsed for some reason

I am vsing a guy in div 4 who has Aussie Bowler Tapp in his side. My player hit him for six :)

But i should lose unless i cant take 8 quick wickets
