The Mongooses have slowed down. 2/103 in 20 overs. Steady and totally ahead of target, nevertheless.

I made 276/6 against Bushwackers, mainly thanks to McCormick who got 71*. Bushwackers are:

End of Over 22: 134-1, runrate=6.09, reqrunrate=5.04 (274-6)
Harding 1-0-1-0
Squires* 42 (43 balls)
Swift 60 (57 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcinerney c. Pead b. Riaan 26 (FOW: 59/1)

Need wickets from somewhere

Bugger Weaver out just short of his 50 again. Starting to become a worry.

24.3 W Bryant to Weaver
Weaver tries something special, but is made to look foolish as the wickets spread like butter.

Both angy and Syl's match are going great :) I guess, both wud making it in the end as the target is somewhere near only!

Yea should be safe now with my long batting lineup.

26.4 4 Bryant to Chavhanga
Slower delivery, managed to steer it past mid off and a boundary is the result.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Chavhanga fourth consecutive 50 in the PC league and he is still yet to have an average due to being not out in his past 3 knocks :)

End of Over 29: 149-3, runrate=5.14, reqrunrate=2.81 (207-10)
Bryant 5-0-30-1
Masibulele* 11 (13 balls)
Chavhanga 57 (53 balls)
Last Wicket: Weaver b. Bryant 48 (FOW: 121/3)

hmmm he was the main threat even last time when i played u... Liddle and this guy are big to me.. Lets see what happens when we play ;)

Liddle has been a bit out of form of late but hopefully he can fire along with Steele. Could see some real fireworks.

Chavhanga was not out in the league game too so if he can get not out here it will be 3 not out straight and 4 not out in the PC league :) Something for future opponents to try and break :p

Excellent over :)

Code:
End of Over 33: 176-3, runrate=5.33, reqrunrate=1.88 (207-10)
Bryant	7-0-48-1
Masibulele*	24 (26 balls)
Chavhanga	70 (65 balls)
Last Wicket: Weaver b. Bryant 48 (FOW: 121/3)
32.6 1	Bryant to Masibulele
Good cricket, runs it down to third man and rotates the strike.
32.5 4	Bryant to Masibulele
Straying on the legs, Masibulele flicks to the backward square leg fence, a fine shot!
32.4 2	Bryant to Masibulele
Masibulele rocks back, waiting for the turn, and nudges it past short fine leg.
32.3 1	Bryant to Chavhanga
A sharp piece of play results in a single as the batsmen set off quickly after Chavhanga deflected the ball just in front of his feet.
32.2 4	Bryant to Chavhanga
Steered past a diving extra cover for four.
32.1 .	Bryant to Chavhanga
Very well flighted. Chavhanga has to be cautious and defend. Taken on the pad as it drifts down the leg side.

And Chavhanga has done it not out once again :) Good to see Masibulele get some runs including the winning runs.

36.4 3 Durno to Masibulele
A touch too full and outside the off. Masibulele gets nicely behind and drives past the bowler. It won't reach the fence but that was played very nicely.

And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 7 wickets.
Didcot CCC 207-10
Baggy Blues 209-3

End of Over 37: 209-3, runrate=5.65
Durno 6-0-47-0
Masibulele* 44 (38 balls)
Chavhanga 82 (76 balls)

awesome win there Syl... Congrads :)

Thanks Suren :)

Welcome to The Lion Stands for the match between TT Lions and Cricket Geniuses.

We can tell you that TT Lions won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

Bit of a mixed start by the boys...
End of Over 14: 67-2, runrate=4.79
Brackenbridge 2-0-8-0
Gallagher* 27 (31 balls)
Rudi 31 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Cutler c. Blakeman b. Mcdonald 7 (FOW: 15/2)
A good runrate, but Giddings and Cutler back in the pavillion. Crouch, Abdeen, Whing and Finlayson to go. A score of 260+ would be great, but I'd need to get rid of Allardyce early. He is batting at 4 today...

Rudi gone, and the runrate has slowed down a bit.

End of Over 16: 71-3, runrate=4.44
Brackenbridge 3-0-10-1
Gallagher* 30 (39 balls)
Abdeen 1 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Rudi c. Daniell b. Brackenbridge 31 (FOW: 69/3)

Allardyce has poor fitness today, only lively. That's why he's lower down. Plus, I don't want to risk him getting out early and putting a lot of pressure on the others.

Abdeen comes in before Crouch. I'd like to see a big innings fom him...

End of Over 21: 101-3, runrate=4.81
Potter 4-0-23-0
Gallagher* 41 (53 balls)
Abdeen 18 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Rudi c. Daniell b. Brackenbridge 31 (FOW: 69/3)
100 up, Gally doing suprisingly well.

This match is all but decided.

Fighting Mongooses 2/202 (40.0)
Conelly 91 (115 balls)
Woodward 78 (103 balls)

41.6 W Howell to Woodward
Hits him on the foot right in front of middle stump. Start the long walk, you're out!
Woodward picked up on 90, ending a 163 run partnership. 18 runs left and 48 balls remaining.

42.1 4 Mellor to Conelly
Cracking shot for four by Conelly, Mckenna had barely moved by the time the ball slammed into the fence.
And that's a century for Conelly! Well played indeed Sir!
Conelly makes his century in 121 balls.
42.6 W Mellor to Menzies
Menzies trips over his own feet and it's an easy run out. That's a right mess you got us into Stanley.
Fighting Mongooses choking? Not with only six runs left.
44.2 1 Mellor to Cloete
Neatly run away to third man.
Cloete just taps away the winning runs. Conelly carries his bat.

Broady 9/236 (50.0)
Ingram 67
Thay 66
Mametsa 6/56 (10.0)

Fighting Mongooses 4/237 (44.2)
Conelly 106 n.o.
Woodward 90
Sadlier 2/52 (10.0)

23.4 4 Hoult to Gallagher
Lovely technique by Gallagher. Wonderful straight drive back past Hoult. Great timing.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
Didn't expect this. Great knock.

End of Over 30: 145-3, runrate=4.83
Hoult 5-1-29-0
Gallagher* 70 (93 balls)
Abdeen 30 (34 balls)

Last Wicket: Rudi c. Daniell b. Brackenbridge 31 (FOW: 69/3)
145*2 = 290. That should be my final score. But you never know with BT. Still, happy enough with the progress so far, Abdeen looking good too.

30.6 4 Potter to Gallagher
Sweeps perfectly. Gallagher is on form today.
They aren't kidding.

For FF...

End of Over 31: 176-0, runrate=5.68, reqrunrate=9.00 (346-4)
Hemmings 6-0-41-0
Murray* 102 (105 balls)
Duminda 70 (84 balls)

Well, we were too slow...

After wijenayake and Overton came in...

End of Over 44: 275-2, runrate=6.25, reqrunrate=12.00 (346-4)
Stone 7-1-37-0
Wijenayake* 30 (19 balls)
Overton 26 (22 balls)

So basically i lost due to pressure on players to hit out, rather that low quality... just two wickets down at 44th over...

After they fell

End of Over 46: 287-4, runrate=6.24, reqrunrate=15.00 (346-4)
Stone 8-1-41-1
Reade* 4 (4 balls)
Naidoo 2 (3 balls)

6 wickets in the last 4 overs...

lost first wicket in the 35th over... by which time the require runrate was 9.5
