Good score so far by the TT lions, I think Zorax will be pleased. It'll be tough chasing much more than 250. Meanwhile, Mcdonald is singlehandedly carrying my bowling attack with 6 wickets, and he still has two more overs to go!!
End of Over 45: 233-7, runrate=5.18
Mcdonald 8-0-51-6
Eli* 1 (2 balls)
Finlayson 9 (8 balls)

My feeble keepers with great secondaries are doing great. I think I may be on to something here, first with Hume, and now with Blakeman. Both feeble keepers but have good secondaries and fielding. Blakeman today has been involved in 5 dismissals!!

End of Over 48: 246-10, runrate=5.13
Brough 8-0-36-3
Finlayson* 15 (16 balls)
The TT lions have got out on what I think is a par score. It all rests on my batsmen and how they take care of the new ball.

End of Over 4: 16-2, runrate=4.00, reqrunrate=5.02 (246-10)
Folkes 2-0-6-2
Allardyce* 1 (1 balls)
Blakeman 13 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Hume c. Rudi b. Folkes 2 (FOW: 13/2)
S**t. My best two batsmen are in now, hopefully they can consolidate. A 100 partnership is needed.

End of Over 13: 63-2, runrate=4.85, reqrunrate=4.97 (246-10)
Rudi 7-1-43-0
Blakeman* 28 (35 balls)
Allardyce 31 (29 balls)
(FOW: 13/2)
End of Rudi's spell, he's been off colour today. These two are motoring along nicely, Blakeman being defensive and Allardyce attacking, just like I wanted.

Blakeman's getting bored with this defending nonsense.
17.6 4 Crouch to Blakeman
Wallop! One bounce and it's four runs, nearly concussing the ballboy that foolishly got in its way.
17.5 6 Crouch to Blakeman
Blakeman has smacked that rank ball way up into the sky. I think I'm going to have to forget the binoculars with this man at the crease and get the telescope out instead; a monster hit!
17.4 4 Crouch to Blakeman
That was a bad ball by Crouch and Blakeman puts it away for four runs.

Eli 1-0-5-0
Blakeman* 54 (62 balls)
Allardyce 46 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Hume c. Rudi b. Folkes 2 (FOW: 13/2)
Eli in, a wicket would be nice...
Really expected a bigger score, but yet another BT collapse got in the way...

23.3 2 Eli to Allardyce
Thick inside edge, narrowly missing leg stump. To add to Eli's frustration, the batsman will jog through for an easy two.
That brings up the 100 partnership. Well played these two, but the job's only half done.

Eli's doing okay so far. Need him to keep it up. Rudi was shocking, Crouch about as much as I expected. I did give hime very risky orders after all. Tuckett needs to pick up a wicket...
End of Over 26: 120-2, runrate=4.62, reqrunrate=5.29 (246-10)
Eli 3-0-12-0
Allardyce* 57 (71 balls)
Blakeman 57 (72 balls)

Last Wicket: Hume c. Rudi b. Folkes 2 (FOW: 13/2)
End of Over 26: 127-3, runrate=4.88
That's where I was at the same stage....

End of Over 28: 129-2, runrate=4.61, reqrunrate=5.36 (246-10)
End of Over 28: 132-3, runrate=4.71
I think the advantage is slightly towards the Geniuses...

Runs have started to flow, a wicket is needed.
End of Over 31: 152-2, runrate=4.90, reqrunrate=5.00 (246-10)
End of Over 31: 153-3, runrate=4.94

End of Over 33: 155-2, runrate=4.70, reqrunrate=5.41 (246-10)
End of Over 33: 164-3, runrate=4.97
Tuckett's spell was a bit of a waste. 10 overs, 0/35. Nice and economical, but I needed him to take wickets. Now Eli and Crouch bowling, bound to leak runs...

These two have been batting brilliantly, haven't they?! To think that we were 13/2 at one stage, this has been an awesome partnership. However, both might start to tire a bit and then once we're into the last then there will always be a few wickets falling down. Fingers crossed.

Hope Rudi can hit back on top form in his final 3 overs. Folkes should do well. Just need Crouch and Eli to hurry through their overs with minimal damage...

I think Allardyce and Blakeman were taking revenge for their last game, against Rudi !! Complete contrast here. Makes me chuckle.

39.2 4 Crouch to Allardyce
Solid cover drive past a diving extra cover.
And that's a century for Allardyce! Well played indeed Sir!
ALLADYCE. IS. A. LEGEND.

End of Over 40: 200-2, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=4.70 (246-10)
Crouch 10-0-58-0
Blakeman* 85 (112 balls)
Allardyce 108 (116 balls)

Last Wicket: Hume c. Rudi b. Folkes 2 (FOW: 13/2)
Less than 5 an over in the last ten with 8 wickets left. PLEASE don't mess this up !!!!!!!

Probably are taking revenge. Abdeen and Gally got some back...
Terrible over from Crouch, only 47 needed from the final 10. Crouch wouldn't be bowling at this stage normally if Eli could just do his job by bowling ten overs straight and not conceding 60+ all the time...

43 from 54, 8 wickets in hand. Eli to bowl his 10th...

Yea. Eli and Crouch both proving to be a problem. Crouch did well in his old position, but Eli just seems to suck everywhere. I've tried him everywhere bar taking the new ball!
That, and Rudi had a shocking day. Well, Gally scored 97, so I guess it evens out. Crouch only made 12 with the bat, so another dissapointment.
37 needed in 48. Eli has one more over left...

Bad luck, just sums up the day really. Rudi, Crouch, Tuckett, all failed to perform today...
42.3 4 Folkes to Allardyce
Edge... bisects the slips and runs quickly to the third man boundary. Four runs! Great delivery by Folkes, unlucky not to have Allardyce back in the dressing room.
42.2 4 Folkes to Allardyce
Advances down the pitch, converting a yorker into a full toss and dispatching it to the boundary between mid on and mid wicket. Folkes gives the batsman a long stare; he's not happy with how that turned out!

22 needed in 42 balls, Eli into his final over now.

Seems like Voldy isn't the only guy with problems with his young spinner ;)
Ay, young spinners are a pain. Doesn't help when your older one is forced to bowl in the middle overs and keep the runs down as a result...

My 17 yr old spinner Brackenbridge is doing great. He had a couple of pops last monday and looks very very good now.
