Okay i know this is an issue that most people probably dont care about, but who is your most liked and hated commentator?

My favourite commentator is Michael Holding but I also like Ian Botham and Sanjay Manjrekar and my most hated is Mark Nicholas. Oh and by the way sorry for anybody that ive left out, I just thought of them off the top of my head. But yeh i just cant stand Mark Nicholas he really drives me crazy with hes "jeeeeesh"'s etc... and yeh he says the stupidiest things sometimes:

"To a degree cricket is a team game made up of individuals"
and
"As it happens so often in this wretched game"
(Both from Super Series)

Even though EA killed him Richie Benaud is mine. Richie is a legend of commentating.

For comedy - Bumble
For being must knowledgable and thus the best - Richie Benaud ( I can now bowl leggies because of him!)

Richie benaud is understandably quite knowledgeable. But no offence to Richie fans, his commentating is quite dull and these days he doesn't even face the camera during those post-match analysis. So he should retire now. Sometimes too much of knowledge is too bad. others are ok. Some of those Indian commentators are also good but they most of the times over-react. I love Geoffrey Boycott.

best: richie benaud. channel nines coverage wouldn't be the same without his unbiased perspectives. worst, ravi shastri. utter annoyance.

Mark Taylor bloke who was with C4 for the Ashes. Good commentator too.

Oh yes forgot to add as Sky will have all cricket from now on, it is strongly rumoured Bob Willis will be forced out next summer. With Athers coming in.
