" Soldiers sign Afridi "

The whole squad of the Asian soldiers was now built. A dangerous opening pair, a world-class middle-order and top notch all-rounders supported by a legendary spin duo of Kumble and Ajmal. All things were looking good, the team was now lead by the young and in-form Unmukt Chand, who has recently grabbed some attention by scoring two consecutive centuries. There was no need of any players in the squad. But, league manager Mark advised the team head Akul to pick a continental player. According to the sources, Shahid Afridi has been signed to play for the Asian Soldiers in the upcoming Continental Bash. He stood out twice with blistering knocks of 88 and 34 in a recent series and bowls some good leg-spin. He was the highest wicket taker in the world cup held a couple of years ago. His addition is a big boost to the team !

With the teams preparing for the Contenental Eruption and the opening ceremony on the verge of starting. Our expert analyzers,Sunil Narine and Rahul Dravid(two top-class players not picked so far) have a look at each team, what they can do and what they should do.

First is African Griffins

Batting:
Many retired players and Dravid and Narine have admitted that Africa Griffins should dominate the batting stats in the First-Class and OD games.
"Our batting line-up is strong and we are looking forward to viewing their perspectives come game time"-Gary Kirsten. Three top openers in the world will be fighting out a spot with the two Aussies making up the rest of the order. The keepers both have very promising stats but no2 ODI batsmen,AB de Villiers's stats stand out amongst the middle-order

Only time will tell if the batsmen will live up to their potential

Bowling:

The bowling is nearly as promising as the batting with Brett Lee and Tsotsobe leading the pack. Dravid said"This bowling line-up would even trouble me when i'm batting in my best form."

Kyle Abbott and Wayne Parnell will be in key roles in the Griffins's matches.

The Griffins have also produced quality spinners in the form of Robin Peterson and Johan Botha, who each said they are anxiously waiting for the first game to destroy whoever lies in their way.

This has been match analytics bringing you the round up of the sides.

Tomorrow we will bring you the African Serpents managed by Ashkaychauhan and coached by Shaun Pollock

Rahul Dravid & Sunil Narine

Read before posting line-up

For the picking of teams these are the rules:

1)Max of 3 overseas in a starting XI.

2)Each team can have 1 format specialist wich means he can only plays in 1 format but must play minimum 3 games in that format. A non-international player may not be a format specialist

3)Every player must play 1 game in each format except for a format specialist

4)You can have all non-internationals or none of them in a side but they must play 1 game in each format
