controller problem

ive just installed the game but when i go into options to choose between keyboard and game controller it wont let choose anything but the keyboard theres no arrow to change to the joypad.

You need to configure it first through the options menu.

tried that it doesnt show it in game but the controller works in other games like fifa 2004
