Correct Bats For Your Favourite Players

Not only can you use real bats in Cricket2004 but your favourite players can use their actual bats. Here's what to do:
1. Download the bat pack from www.cricket2004.co.uk
2. Save the bats to your bat directory (cricket2004/data/bats)
3. Load up Cricket 2004
4. Click on Team Management
5. Click on Base Copy
6. Choose the team and player you wish to edit
7. Cycle through the 34 bats until you find the correct one for that player
8. Press back and let the game save your copy
9. Click Add to Database
10. Select the team and player again and click replace

Butcher - Slazenger V600
Trescothick - G&M Maxi
Vaughan - G&M Purist
Thorpe - Kookaburra Bubble
Read - Kookaburra Sword
Hussain - Gray Nicolls Rapier
Flintoff - Wordworm Wand
Anderson - Wordworm Wand
Harmison - G&M something
Hoggard - Chase
Solanki - Magnum something
Collingwood - Slazenger v1200
Clarke - Gray Nicolls Millennium

I added a few to the list. People can just post what bats other people use and one of the staff will edit it into the list.

when you replace a player two pop up when you try select them for a tour of another country

Not if you replace them with themselves using the method above. I just checked it out.

You mean it gave you two players to select?
I don't know why it's doing that. Try deleting the new players and creating them again using exactly the method above (which you probably did anyway).

yeh thats what i mean sorry for the confusion, but yeh i think this is one of those bugs that need to be looked at. i found that the second player is the updated one.

I don't know?? He doesn't use it that often, he just walks out watches the ball hit the stumps and walks back
