I thought Cricket 2002 was a great game. But then nothing in the world is perfect !!! I was playing a tournament in Cricket 2002 on my friends P4 1.7 with GeFORCE2 64mb and suddenly the game crashed and brought me back to the desktop.

I just hated that part because I was about to win the finals. This happens after about 1/2 hour of play regularly.

Has anybody seen this problem.?? Anyway, I have the original CD, I bought from Mumbai at Rs.1000.

i think u should disable any virus shield before running the game and set ur computer resolution to 800x600 and 16 colour
r tey to update ur graphics and sound driver..one from these will definitly work ???

I tried changing the screen resolution as well as updated driver with the Detonator ones. But it did not help !! The game exited after sometime !!!!!

I just found and observation. This generally happenned when I was batting. And that too when I pressed the arrow key+the booster shot and front foot.... Could be a wild guess. But happenes in every half an hour.

Well if that happens, try reconfiguring your keyboard controls I guess...

yeah...reconfigure your keyboard controls.Plus:
1.Try reinstalling the game in the "full" option
2.Before starting the game disable all active programs except "explorer".{ctrl-alt-del}.
3.Set your resolution to 800X600 and colour depth to 16bit colour.
4.See if your sound and graphics cards are fully directX compatible.{start-run-dxdiag}
5.update your graphics and sound card drivers.
6.Install directX8.a NOT directX8.1
--c2k2 is incompatible with Directx8.1
7.Try to play the game in lower "display" settings.

One of these will DEFINITELY solve the problem.
