Can anyone help. I spent 2 hours downloading the demo, 1 hour installing it. When I click 'play' it says "Malicious script- Object Windows Script Host Shell Object; Activity Run; Your computer is halted and needs something to do about this script-'C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\EA SPORTS Cricket 2005 Demo\cricket2005.hta"

Should I continue or should I quit? I daren't continue as my computer might crash but I really want to play the demo even if it is bad.

I am using Norton Antivirus. the standard options available are:
Stop this script (recommended)
Allow this activity once
Allow the entire script once
Quarantine this script (what is this??)
Authorize this script (what is this??)

Okay. I HAVE SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. I am very grateful to those who have helped.

go into the folder where you installed the demo (probably C:\Program Files\EA Sports\EA SPORTS Cricket 2005 Demo) and run Cricket2005.exe, rather than the .hta file. HTA stands for Hyper Text Application, and simply is the little opening screen where you click play. The script error may be due to that hta file. If you just run the actual EXE file, it may work.

Try it, it can't mess anything up.
