So what happens when you accidentaly hit a red ball in when batting, or the opposite, hitting a coloured ball when bowling

SRK DON...

Such interest being shown for such a innocuous game.

Pocket a red ball when batting? You lose a wicket, but not due to the skill of the bowler...so it equates to a run out.

Pocket a run ball when bowling? Then its byes to the value of what ball was pocketed, (pot the pink and its 5 runs.....equates to hitting the keepers helmet that has been placed on the ground)!!!!!!! :D

My favourite cricket game was the old scrunched up piece of paper being the ball and a pen/pencil being the bat. Lots of fun and very difficult!

School Classroom Cricket.

-Scrunched up paper
-A ruler or one of those small novelty bats(:D)
-A handful of students
-A bag as the wickets sat on top of a table as the stumps.

You know the rest...

Book cricket was quite a strange game. We basically took a largish book. The way the game worked was you opened a random page in the book and looked at the even side. If it was a 2,4,6,8 you added those amounts of runs to your total and if it was a 0 you lost a wicket. Pretty simple game and required a great deal of imagination to be close to exciting!

Book cricket is an interesting one. Losing a wicket would be quite rare since you would have to get 0 or 10.
Even book cricket is a batsmen's game!

20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110... You get the point.

Thats a pretty good ratio for wickets...Not a batsmans game at all!

Haha, we did that in class once, and one of the guys just randomly shouted "EEEELLLLBBBBBWWWW" when I missed the paper ball (he shouted on purpose), trying to imitate an Indian guy shouting it, everyone just pissed themselves, teacher wasn't too happy though.
