Your Cricket Cricket Scoring Notation

I use your method barmy, the whole other one is confusing me.

Just to bump this. We had a ridiculous scenario last week where a no-ball went for 2 legbyes.
Presumeably this is a 2 inside an upside-down triangle inside a circle? That was what we settled on although it took up most the space for scoring the over.

This is a mis-conception. There's actually nothing wrong with bumping old threads if you are adding to them rather than just resurrecting them for no reason.

They wouldn't be a leg bye at all. It would go down as a no-ball that went for 3. As the runs were not taken off the bat it would go down as 3 dots inside a circle to signify that the runs are not given to the batsmen. I am sadly a qualified scorer.

I'll bear that in mind for any more queries. Our scorebooks are usually a total mess so getting the odd thing wrong doesn't really matter

no ball is a dot with a circle around it

extras have their own column.
