'Delhi Police refused to let food into the ground'

Wankhede's canteen...is..by far the dirtiest canteen I've ever seen in my life. During the India vs Pak tests they wouldn't allow people to buy snacks in between tea breaks when it happened on the ground, and then everybody would rush to the canteen. That's like having one popcorn seller in a multiplex.

When did Wankhede host an India-Pak game. Its been ages since Mumbai got a Pakistan game.

DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai arguably has the best viewing experience in the country. There is nothing about the stadiu you could complain about. It has numerous gates making entry and exit easy. There are multiple food-stalls at every stand/bay. The LED screens are world class and the floodlights are way better than anything I`ve seen elsewhere.

Such a pity that we have World Cup games at places like Hambantotta and venues like Ahmedabad where noone turns up but a World Class facility like DY Patil Stadium misses out. Delhi is one shitty looking stadium and should not have got any WC matches.

I agree that Wankhede doesn't have a great canteen but it's not bad either. I've been there and also at Brabourne and DY Patil and Brabourne's canteen in 2008 wasn't as good as Wankhede's 2006 canteen.

And DY Patil undoubtedly has the best food availability out of all the three stadiums in Mumbai.
