Your Cricket Describe your Style

Batting
Right Handed slogger, usually comes at no.7

Fielding
Wicket Keeper

I suck at bowling that's why I chose to be a wicket keeper.

My Batting Style: I open up and my job is to bat through. I tend to play proper cricket shots rather than slogging. I also try to rotate the strike a lot aswell.

My Bowling Style: I'm actually a very good (if i say so myself) off spin bowler, but can't bowl as i'm the wicket keeper. :p

My Fielding Style: As i mentioned above, i'm the wicket keeper. I tend to stand up to the stumps off everyone. Apart from our FAST bowler. I swear he bowls in the high ninety's.

I'm the captain aswell. Were a u-18 team by the way.

Batting- I come in as an opener, and my role is to play through the whole innings. So my strike rate often is around 80 in 40 over matches, and about 110 in 20 over matches. But I'm just there to rotate the strike and keep the innings together. If need I take the risk, I will. If it's in my zone (Outside offstump) I throw my bat at it. I can get a single against the spinners quite easily, but not boundaries. High score in 40 over is 121 off about 125 balls. Then in 20 over my high score is 87 off 72.

Bowling- I can bowl offspin, but it just goes straight on mostly. I focus on accuracy rather than getting it to turn. I try to dart it the batsman's feet. (Like Gayle you could say) If needed I'll bowl, but generally don't.

Fielding- I'm in the slips at first, as I have quick reaction time. After the field spreads out, I'll go to the cover most of the time, so I can have a chat with the bowler.

Batting : Left Hand Opening Batsman......
partly aggressive...i play according to the situation.....

Bowling : Right Arm Medium Bowler...
I used to get some WHACKING from the opposition initially but now i have improved on my bowling

Fielding : all that i can say is i am a rookie at this......only plus point is that i hit the stumps quite often

You try hide fielders in gully

I'm a fairly defensive batsmen just nudge the ball for quick singles and let the big hitters keep the strike. I just hold up one end basically. Medium pace bowler who can swing it and seam it away from the batsmen nicely. I usually try bowl yorkers though just to keep it tight. Last season I got a lot of batsmen bowled and caught keeper/slip.

I field in slip usually but I like to field anywhere that I can get involved.

That is the same as me :)

Batting:
Come in at about 7/8 try to bat out all the overs my highest score is 15 off 30 balls in 50 over but in two day my highest score is 97 off 189 balls

Bowling:
Right arm meduim fast can bowl between 40-65 mph. also can bowl a bit of leg spin.

Feilding:
Slips, shortleg or silly :D

Batting:
im more of a defensive batsmen leave alot of balls outside my off stump unless its a true half volley and then ill give it a whack through covers anything on the stumps ill defend and wait for the short ball as im quite a good puller of the ball and i ussually bat from 3-6

Bowling:
ussually open bowling or come in first change i bowl medium fast my only problem is i tend to bowl a bit short but iv been practising keeping my front leg not bent when i deliver the ball wich is helping

Fielding:
i ussualy field at point not a great catcher but im quite good at saving fours being a keeper for my soccer team helps because i can dive and stop the ball quite well

Batting:
Useless, if its quick and swings im out, can slog the spinners with a cross bat, but I haven't got the coordination to play against quicks. Normally come in at 9-11

Bowling:
Pretty quick, im tall thick set with wierdly long arms so I can get some bounce, get quicker and more accurate the angrier I get.
I tend to bowl a fraction short and im pretty chest on, so I'm hard to hit.
Best bowling was 5 for 8 in a 20 over game on some shocking away pitch.

Fielding:
As far away from the ball as possible, normally at fine leg.

And lol at the people (especially the leg spinners) who say they can turn the ball both ways consistantly, wanna job in the England team?

Batting
Left hand bat.
Opening batsmen
Best-72

Bowling
Right arm fast.
4/0(6overs)

Batting : Right Handed Big Hitter - I come in at no.9 and slog the ball around for a few overs - most i have ever made was 106* not out

Bowling : Right Arm Fast - We had a speed thing last month, and my bowling was up around 85mph - i bowl full and straight, it slows down the run rate and gets lots of LBW's and bowl alot of people. If the conditions are right i can also get the ball to swing out

Fielding : Either Short Leg or Gulley or Slip

I find the 85 mph part quite hard to believe. You sure its true?

you are a bad ass tail ender batsman, a lightening quick bowler who rips the stumps out with his pace and a specialist fielder . hmmm so which county do you play for then? :facepalm

yea more likely to bowl 85km/h lol... Me bowling flat out i am lucky to hit 115km/h im not even sure if i could bowl that... i was gauged at 109.5km/h
anywho

Bowling:
Medium fast (compared to other bowlers in my team) swing, both ways and out against the wind. First change with a really good inswinging yorker (when i aim outside off far enough)

Batting:
Currently no. 10 very good defence, slow starter and great off of my pads (used to be so bad i would always have a couple bruises on my thigh; bought a thigh pad and now get hit there like once every 3 net sessions now lol)

Fielding:
Start at point, and mid-off. Then bowl so fine leg/ a 45. then gully. but pretty much anywhere

Some more information on my batting:

I leave balls on middle stump, i pull yorkers, i play a cover drive when the ball`s on the legside.

Hmm, a new update.

Batting
Defensive batsman, sometimes I can be moderate. I'm looking to score faster this season, plus I've lost my good cut. Working hard on my leg side shots, and that's working well.

Bowling
When I get through this injury, I'm trying to bowl faster, but try to keep some good accuracy.

Fielding
Has improved.
