Divided Europe

Story - The ECB has decided, to make more money from television and ticket sales, that it will retain the County Championship in its current form, but, for all new one day and t20 competitions, it will split the 18 counties, plus Holland, Ireland and Scotland, into 6 teams, grouped based on their places on the map. Your mission is to manage one of these new teams.

I feel this is a great idea for a league. Sadly, I won't be able to join as I am too busy with my personal life + many leagues.

I thought about the entry fee for a while, and that's where it will stay. There are a couple of reasons, firstly to give people something worthwhile to aim for in terms of prizes, and second to make sure that people who enter have some sort of commitment towards the league.

Imager36 added 5 Minutes and 2 Seconds later...

I might also open it up so it is possible to co-own a team, so long as the two or more parties can work together reasonably well.

I'll go for the challenge and take NIWS :)

Good to see you starting a league though!

You're basically taking the same path as me which I find interesting - you join the forums originally because of ICC, post a lot in those forums, then after a period of time spread to other forums - initially the League and Story forums, and then to the forums as a whole ;)

That's what I did. :yes

Good luck with this Andy, it seems a good idea, but I'm not going to join as I don't think I'll have the time to participate fully.

:yes You just took much less time to make the transition. I only started moving out of the ICC forum in like March

This does look like an interesting league though. I'll send the vCash soon

Right, only two teams left to go!

Yeah, I think that's quite interesting, it's all about being in your comfort zone, I guess. ICC was the thing that I felt most comfortable about, and when you've kind of done that, you progress out. Even this is in my comfort zone a little, with it being County Cricket based.

I want to participate in this now, but I only have 8-9 Million, most of which I am planning to use in my league.
Can I pay the amount in installments, if yes, what is the Rate of Interest charged?:p
