Can you disprove that there is isn't a big house made of chocolate and owned by an ogre is drifting in space millions of light years away? You probably couldn't. The point is that the burden of proof always falls on the person making a claim. If you believe that there are ghosts, you've got to prove it, I don't have to disprove anything. If you then say that it's just a belief, it may well be but it is false. You may believe that the sky is red, doesn't mean I can't question that belief.
