There was a documentary a year and a bit ago exposing the lies.

In the doc. they showed how the crew faked encounters and how Derek Acorah used to pretend to make contact with the dead. A member of the crew tried to expose Derek as the phoney that he was and made up anagrams for Derek to fake contact with. e.g Kirel Seed (Drek Lies) These aren't the real names used as I can't remember exactly but you get the idea.

Sounds interesting. I suppose that most of the things Derek 'finds out' from the spirits is easily researchable. It still doesn't explain some things that happen on the show though. A lot of things happen in locked off areas with only one crew member. I'd never stop watching the show though, it's great entertainment.

You may notice how often I used the word 'fake' in the above paragraph. Maybe it's because i wanted to show what a liar Derek Acorah was. But, in truth, it's because I can't find my thesaurus.

Apparently, they played tricks on their own crew members. They poke them on the back or things like that to scare them and make the show more realistic

A TV programme where people are being paid, doesn't strike you as a little odd?

I admit that a lot of things about the show are questionable but it does prove that some people will just refuse to accept new ideas such as this. Even the parapsychologist (probably spelt wrong) admits that some things are just completely unexplainable.

Well you can't balance disproven and proven. If something has gone 200 years without being proven you can't say you believe it because it hasn't been disproven, 'cos chances are it's never gonna be proven.
