well, after readiing through the pages here.... its an interesting topic. Life after death is evergreen research topic i belive.
But one thing i am sure, Science cant prove everything all the time. The famous science is still yet to prove the solar system formation. There are lot of theories though that this is the way how it wud have happened.
okie, coming back to the topic, i do belive presence of spirits though. In my opinion, a person's death is confirmed when he is born. If suppose a person happen to die within that time, he is likely to spend the remaining period as a spirit and then as soon as the time gets over, he gets rebirth once again! This is what i believe.
But saying 12 midnight.. 12 noon.. all those timings are really rubbish in my opinion.
Also i have heard that dogs do bark on recognising spirits. I dont know how far this is true, but i have witnessed this one in real life. I ususally do cycling exercise from night 10- 12 midnight during my 12th standard. One day, i was happily cycling.... and in one of the streets, dogs were barking continuosly.. lol i thought it was barking at me only as that street was lonely that time. I left to next street.. After sometime also, i heard continuously barking noise. Then i thought that those were very hungry.. all were street dogs btw. I went home having lost the peacefulness. The very next day only i came to know that there was a death in one particular house that time and infact it was around the same place where i saw the dogs barking. I went into too much of thinking and assumed dogs do recognise the spirits.
May be i am wrong too.. But, from assumptions, lots of theories have been proven in science too. I was just sharing the event which i witnessed and not coming to any conclusion though.
But dogs do realise the natural calamities like earthquakes before itself. This one, i have read somewhere. If i am right, animals in general do recognise these natural calamities!
Have you heard of a dead person coming back to life? This happened in my family... But i am still yet to believe it though becos they say it happened even before my parents were born.. i.e my mom's mom relative.
Birth-death period is one of the things Science cant prove... U can explain.. becos of so and so reasons, a person died.. but there are many many ppl who will be very well but will close their eyes all of a sudden. My aunty is one such example.. I spoke to her very well cracking jokes the day before she was dead. She was around 47... The very next day she suddenly felt uncomfortness and taken to hospital.. even while taking to hospital, she was able to talk.. But all of a sudden, she closed and died.. and i still remember the voice of my uncle, " she is no more ". This was shocking to all. No one expected. Her period seemed to have over and hence the death.
Not only this, i have witnessed many like this. I have seen my distant relative having coffee and suddenly closed the eyes after sitting on chair. I always believe, " Science cannot prove everything all the time "!

Thanks to your ghost stories I now live in constant fear.
Infact last night a ghost kicked me in the groin.Thanks to you i was already prepared. I was wearing a groin guard and it broke his leg.

Many animals do it, they don't actually recognise it before it happens, they just feel the mini tremors before the big one (the one we can feel). That's all theory though, as no one has proved anything on it, infact no one has even proved that they sense them.

fwiw, I believe you. There was once a man who lived in my suburb, who was the town "groing kicker," he killed 4 people with his 'habit'. He died a few years ago, and me and some friends went into his abandoned farm (where the groin kicking ghosts hang out) but one of our friends, while checking the tomatoes by himself started screaming, by the time we found him, he was dead.... his groin had been completely kicked in...
