In 1957, a rash of UFO sightings started to occur in Texas. One of those incidents involved a "bulky object" that was heading in a southeastern direction and then dipped down to the horizon of the Earth. A witness happened on the landing site of this object.

What is your guys explanation to this? This is the 1950s when we bearly knew how to fly things so it can't be some high tech device.

So people imagined fighter planes in both world wars and numerous experiments with flight before the Wright brothers succeeded in 1903...

Yes halfway. Does that UFO look like it was half way complete?

From what I have heard of UFOs they go much quicker than anything we have developed. And once again during that decade we were no where near building something that could travel at those speeds.

Although the category of the supernatural naturally includes gods, can we please exclude them from this discussion, due to the fact that conflicts can often arise due to many peoples inability to discuss the topic of gods in a rational, calm and mature manner. (I'm not referring to any one in particular)

This is an interesting thread. My beliefs are that the supernatural exist, but that doesn't mean I believe in little green aliens, etc. I believe in ghosts and other supernatural beings wandering the earth.

As for God, I have wondered about his existence for many years, but after studying human anatomy and physiology, I have stopped wondering. The way the human body works, the way it is designed, just boggles the mind. The deeper you travel into the inner layers of the human body the more you start appreciating the ingenious design of it. If its not God's work then what. I believe in evolution to the point that I believe in micro-evolution. When people start talking about macro-evolution, that's where they lose me. How a unicellular organism can evolve into a fully developed human in millions of years time is beyond me. How can an organism evolve into something from a different species?

Nowhere in the Bible does it give the date of the alleged birth of Jesus. Indeed from what is in the Bible we can say with certainty that Jesus defintiely wasn't born anywhere near the 25th of December.

The close proximity of Christmas to the winter solstice betrays it's origins. Similar festivities were carried out for decades before the alleged birth of Jesus, the Roman "Festival of the winter sun" being one.

Which part of the above post didn't you understand? The design of the human body, by the way, is anything but ingenious. The appendix, the blind spot, and hips that wear out are signs of that, but that's off-topic. See www.talkorigins.org for some answers.

The Bible gives no date for the birth of Jesus. But it certainly wasn't December the 25th. But the Bible says that bats are birds, so you can take anything in there with a very large pinch of salt.

OK then, UFOs are more often than not reported in the USA, which county is trying to develop more and more anonymous aircraft?

Oh and if UFOs come from outside our Atmosphere explain how the (aliens) knew precisely how much force the craft would take. And do they have insulation in outer space? And how do they breathe? are they robots? Were do they get fuel from? UFOs are just aircraft made by EARTH humans that we don't know of.

You are thinking in terms of science. Supernatural stuff requires thinking way outside of the square. Who knows how they get fuel, or breathe. If they exist they obviously have some way.
And if it was a human made device why is it always in the oval shape that UFO sightings always appear as?
