From an economic perspective, if you keep the drug out of the market for long enough, demand will grow. Also, since you would have patent power for a period, this would virtually allow a drug company to "be made". For this, though, they would need the support of the government where the research was being conducted. And I certainly hope that no government is so filthily greedy, although it's possible.

Slightly different.............There's no chance that would happen. There are enough people in that government including George Bush with a conscience. This Iraq thing was blown out of proportion.

Certainly was! Bush has lots of friends who run defence and oil companies, so invading Iraq would be a bonus.

But thats going off topic (Maybe we could start a new debate on that? Or would it be a too sensitive issue?)

HIV/AIDS is a virus, so it wouldn't be very easy to find a cure. Perhaps someone, one day, will stumble across a plant that could cure HIV/AIDS. Thats why its so important to keep the rainforests.

Recently, an invisible ufo landed in an unamed government building, carrying aliens which had the technology to build an invisible hospital which magic johnson attended.
