I do. Especially when Russell Arnold is in the commentary box. He speaks absolute rubbish :facepalm

His world starts and ends with Kooooo-maaar Sanguhkahreh and Mahela Jayawaaaardena. And ofcourse, Sanath and Moot-haaya Myur-lith-haran :p

It's true that at times the commentary is quite rubbish, but I just can't watch sports with no sound. I've just gotten used to the absolute dribble they talk about.

Yes man. They talk about absolute random stuff at times and repeat the same thing again and again. Having said that, its quite difficult being a commentator, I feel.

I find it works best to mute the tv and then poke my eyes out with a fork

Everyone bar Bishop, Shastri, Doull, Coney, and Gavaskar are absolutely rubbsih. Mike Haysman isn't bad either but I've never really been a fan. Unless any of them are on at the same time I mute the T.V and chuck on the Ipod.

But Harsha Bhogle entertains with some silly comedy on players like
"Matthew Hayden... the 39 years old is running for his life..."when he's running at the danger end:laugh:rtfl

Harsha Boggle is the worst, his accent is super annoying and his commentary is uninspired.

Harsha has fallen down big. I used to enjoy his commentary long time back but these days, I dont find them as entertaining.

Yea, Bhogle's bad, really bad. He really doesn't make any sense when he's talking, he's basically a commentator spammer.

Has Pommy featured at all this season? I've yet to see him.

Harsha is one of the most decent and articulate commentators around. Maybe he's in the wrong format, but he has voice like velvet and is perfect to hear during Tests and ODIs. :)

I like Laxman Shivramakrishnan as well. He does get intimidated by an eccentric co-commentator at times, but he's one of the most knowledgeable and intelligent man around. And he talks sense everytime he talks. :)

:laugh so true, he just keeps talking to fill the silence and his voice is soo annoying.

Also does not help that the man can't pronounce a 'v' to save his life

I don't know about you guys but I hate when commentators act like commentators. I have watched enough cricket to know what is going on.

I would rather have 3 idiots sitting in there talking about absolute rubbish. Now that would be enjoyable.

Unfortunately, they talk a lot of random stuff these days. Doing it sometimes is fine. Doing it pretty much everytime is not.

Now a days, they talk lot of random stuff cos of sponsors like MRF. But I dunno why don't they have a chat with ALL the players in DUG OUT if they get free time?
And why don't they try something like in ICL by talking with some random persons in VIP lounges.? [Not in regular crowds as the interviewer and camera man would die, if they try going into crowd:p:p]

Mike Haysman is a sad interview, as compared to the "I-love-playing-on-the-slide" Dan Morrison :p

And Yes, the interviewer and the cameraman would get killed in an ensuing stampede :laugh
