Mitchell Johnson- has potential to become a good genuine all-rounder in the future.
Peter Siddle- Next Brett Lee:)
Stuart Broad- Not a fan of him, but like Johnson he has potential to become a good genuine all rounder.
Shane Watson- Will become one of Australia's greatest openers.

Smith vs Holland?

Smith has to be the eventual winner because finger spinners are largely ineffective on Australian pitches. You need a good legspinner to get proper purchase from any wicket and having an attacking spinner in your side adds so much.

Ajyinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwary, Abhi Nayar for me. Virat Kohli too, if he can get his ego in check.

India has a very talented pool of young cricketers. They should be groomed and selected in accordance so we can be the very best we can be.

Smith also offers that extra batting, which has been customary in Australian spinners recently (Hogg, Warne, Casson, Hauritz, others)

Smith would be very handy to have at 8 if he gets his spin sorted. No more resorting to White as a spinner!

Double post btw :)

Smith needs to be blooded ASAP. I say that when either of these series is won to give Hauritz a rest and play either Jon Holland or Smith. As well as this, Phillip Hughes should play and maybe Tim Paine or Matthew Wade.

This summer is such a great opportunity to blood youngsters, we can't let it slip!

That's the thing, there's no pressure because it'll be dead matches.

Mendis needs more variations otherwise he will be just a simple easy spinner to play.

Because he's not a big spinner of the ball as soon as you figure that out you can play him as a 90km/h medium pacer.

He's a bit like a video game. You suck at playing him until you figure him out. Then it's easy.
