Drag Racing

As you can see by my avatar im a big fan of this sport.

I was just wondering if anyone else ever goes? or participates?

Drag racing has to be the most pointless form of motor-sport ever. Two cars go as fast as they can in a straight line for a short distance. Wow, that's exciting.

I'm sure it is something special inside the car. But to watch it is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

watching it on tv is pointless get down there much better. noise, vibrations and ladies are all top notch

I used to, but they started getting Tony Greig to commentate, and it became even more dull.

I think even F1 is better than drag racing! Give me Touring Cars anyday though.

I watch it alot and I go to Santa Pod and Shakespere County raceway. My stepdad had a totally modded ford pop roadster but he sold it . Now he is bulding a GTO.
