Handscomb leads the way as Tigers take control of the Test
A brilliant 150 from Handscomb held the Tigers innings together with all players in the top 8 passing 15, but only Curran and Handscomb making it 50. Ireland did a great job of constantly breaking partnerships when they started to take control of the match, and at 6/258 it looked like the Tigers may only have a small lead, however Sam Curran game out and hit a blistering 38 ball 50, and when he finally fell, Handscomb would continue the onslaught with the lower order, adding another 50 runs for the last 3 wickets. The Tigers move into the 2nd innings with a 111 run lead, and if Ireland lose early wickets, we could see a dominate Tigers victory coming.

Poor Running Highlights another poor batting display from Ireland
When James McCollum was run out for 3 in the 5th over of the innings, nobody expected it would be a sign of things to come. Especially after the impressive partnership that followed between Balbirnie and Commins, however once that 79 run stand was broken with the score at 2/91, it was nothing but disappointment for the rest of the Irish innings. Wickets at regular intervals, mixed in with 2 more runouts saw the Irish crash to 6/224. The tail would offer no resistance this time however, with Rabada cleaning them up and finishing with Ireland all out for 250.

Rauf would also pick up 2 wickets to help his match figures.
The Tigers will require 139 to win the match. Over to you Renshaw and Khawaja.

Tigers cruise home with twin 50's and Markram fireworks.
The Tigers have closed out the test match with ease, as Renshaw and Khawaja both posted 50's before Markram blasted a quickfire 34 to see the Tigers win by 9 wickets. Only Graham Hume was able to pick up a wicket, dismissing Khawaja clean bowled for 55.

The final results of the tour to Ireland
1st ODI - Tigers win by 3 wickets.
2nd ODI - Ireland win by 74 runs.
3rd ODI - Tigers win by 88 runs.

Only Test - Tigers win by 9 wickets.

Perfect Peter guides Tigers to dominant first ODI victory.
Peter Handscomb would continue his fantastic form in Tigers colours with a fantastic 130 (116) to set up a massive win for the Tigers against Sri Lanka. Coming in at 3/51 with fellow Aussie Matt Renshaw at the crease, the ship definitely needed steadying. While Renshaw would take a more orthodox approach to this, Handscomb went on the counter attack. When Renshaw eventually fell the score was now 4/198 and this unleashed Marcus Stoinis to brutally bash 52 from just 27 delivieres setting the Tigers up for a total of 7/318.

In response Sri Lanka's top order capitulated, falling to 6/79 with 2 brilliant spells from Mitchell Santner and Jason Behrendorff. A steadying partnership from captain Dasun Shanaka and former Tiger Wanindu Hasaranga would see the Sri Lankans not be completely embarrassed, but when Hasaranaga was dismissed by Todd Murphy the score was still only 7/141. The introduction of D'Arcy Short would see the tail cleaned up, with captain Shanaka being stranded on a well made 57* (65). The Tigers taking a brutal first victory in the series by 149 runs.

Catastrophic Tiger Collapse sees Sri Lanka level the series 1-1
With the Tigers sitting at 3/156 after the 30th over, they looked poised to strike to hit another large total for the Sri Lankans to chase. However when Matt Renshaw was removed trapped in front for 21 by Pathirana it triggered an almighty collapse which saw the Tigers fall for 207 all out, including a run of losing 4/1. D'Arcy Short the only batsmen to pass 50, and building on his impressive performance with the ball last match.

It wasn't smooth sailing for the Sri Lankas who found themselves 4/90 and possibly on the brink of collapsing similarly to the Tigers. Kusal Mendis (91* off 88) was not following that script, and would partner with captain Dasun Shanaka (34 off 33) to steady the ship and see the Sri Lankas home by 4 wickets.
