I got an e-mail from codemasters!!!!!!! And they say no one has made an editor... which means that some mystery person has made one..... IT CAN BE DONE! Maybe we should try someone who cracks programs, they can work wonders with games....

;o)

Well, I figured all along that the editor didn't come from Codemasters. Some of the guys said they'd found the e-mail address of the designer of the editor but I haven't heard anything about any response from him.

fitz,
What about sending them a email asking to open blc source code :) or may be ask people to sign on the site and forward all comments to them?

hi there to Shailesh and all the guys out there I think we should try to find the people who can edit the gbb and gbt files because through it only we can be able to edit the gbb and gbt files as these were only the files in which the team names ,scorecard, menus, ground pictures, world series fixtures etc were stored so we should better ask ben or the guys like hari, ste etc or may be any one of you who has the good knowledge of programming so that one can make a good editor for gbb and gbt files and can give a completely new look to blc remember that we can be able to edit the team names eg replace the team names with county teams or some new icc nations etc,I am looking for such graphics editor on many search engine so better we should work as a team in finding such graphics editor because there will be such editor as blc team might have used such editor for this purpose.Hoping reply

I think we should see a program cracker. How about the people who made the TIM editor? I looked everywhere for one of those until i found one! I'm sure theres a program with supports it. Maybe we should search every search engine we can think of for files ending with .gbb and .gbt.......

just a thought..... I still would go with find a decent game cracker ;o)

Shailesh you genius! All we need is sourcecode! Think about it. We can do anything with sourcecode! We can even make no balls and include the leg bye capture in there! Good work... I'll e-mail em when i have time ;o)

the codemasters will never open blc source code

till now we have edited teams files, tim files, commmentary files, cfg files, atr files and now we are trying to open and edit tmd files..............so only gbt, gbb and rot files..........

i think its a great achievement

Sukku,

I know it's almost impossible that they will release the source code but why not give it a try? we have nothing to lose.

Lee - you may want to mention our names and site in the mail..so that they can see how we've enhanced blc without any support ;)

Yeah we should e-mail them with a request for the source code.
Yes I've seen the leg-bye and no-bll captures; what I do is swap them around: for instance 189w.rot in the Captures/Umpire folder is the wide capture - so what I do is delete that and rename another capture 189w.rot and then deliberaetely bowl a wide. Unfortunately it loads all the .rot files at the start of every match,so u have to keep on exiting and re-starting the game every time u change them round...I am sure there are some more unused captures in the folder that u could swap around.
