As we speak, it's closing in on the magical million mark - less than ?9,000 to go. If we can hit that today, we're in great shape with a week to go and ?250,000 to collect.

Re the new title: Scratch that: make it ?5,000. This thing has been rocketing along today like there is no tomorrow! The target's going to be hit in the next few hours...or minutes...

And it's made it. Bring on the return of Elite!!!!!

my flatmate bought skyrim and I've been having a shot of that from time to time, if it worked something like that it would be brilliant. pleased they made it, I won't own a PC good enough to play it but it will be interesting. as long as they get the mechanics and game play feel right the mod communities will sort out everything else.

Skyrim and its prequels are very much like 'Elite on land' - you have a vast amount of freedom and there are lots of things to try your hand out, without going anywhere near actual 'missions'.

Anyway, if anyone here did pledge, Frontier have now started accepting applications for Commander name reservations, T-Shirt sizes should be sorted out soon as well, and if you're a member of the Frontier forums, you can also be a member of the Private Elite Dangerous forum.
