I'm a bit worried England are getting carried away with the idea Swann will rip through the batting. So far he's got three wickets, he has bowled well, but those three wickets were a catch off Scrachin reaching too far and gloving it, a brilliant stumping by Prior and rabbit in headlights Sharma. The point being the only one to struggle to play Swann was the tailender, both the other two wickets were batting errors/poor shots - Raina (15.00) struggling all series as has Tendulkar (26.00)

His wickets this series are still costing 49.71, the Indians had so many problems against the seamers that you'd certainly back them to finish the batting off. Could be India's highest total of the series, can't wait for the C5 highlights of players walking out, extended highlights of them marking the crease and of London :facepalm :mad It's bad enough we have to listen to smug every programme, him and yawn. The way they bask in the glory of England you'd think THEY were the England captain not Strauss :rolleyes

Finally, some fight from India! Mishra and Dravid had a really good go in the morning session and they ought to be proud of themselves for that - however, let's not paper over the cracks here; India just haven't turned up since Sharma's spell at Lord's..

From Cricinfo

VB: "Before this England series, Rahul had 1 century in losing test, now he will likely have 4."

You got to feel for him, what a legend.

Yes they have, and they have turned up in much bigger fashion after that. They just got a little complacent, that's all. Had England 124/8 and were 267/4 as well. The series could have gone a little differently if they took advantage of those two occasions when they were clearly on top. However, they didn't and this is where we are, looking at a 4-0 whitewash and we have nobody but ourselves to blame.

What was that!? Sreesanth is such a waste of life.

4 short of a Daddy Hundred as well.

You get out 3 times in 8 balls and THAT is the shot you play on your ninth?

Why is Dravid coming to bat again:mad He has played so much, deserves a break.
And what was Sreeshant doing, how can he attempt such a shot when there is Dravid at the other end,Dravid could have got a few more runs for the team:mad

Only guy who has showed some balls from the Indian batting lineup this series. Dravid is such a boss.

Is this the first double digit opening partnership for India this series?

Nope, Mukund & GG got 63 in the 1st test IIRC.

Yudi, don't cream yourself just yet.

Good use of DRS. Let's hope that incidents like this convince India.

I frickin' hate that the MRF blimp has infiltrated test cricket.

Last time Dravid walks off in England. Hats off.
