Good luck on your Cricket 2005 story Gary. Can't wait for it to get underway. It should be a ripper. Australia will crush England no doubt! :)

True. I have yet to beat Australia on C2005. Feel free to ask questions to Michael Vaughan, Gary Pleavin(coach), Freddie Flintoff and Marcus Trescothick. First three questions will be answered.

Freddie:(laughs) I knew that was going to come up. I'm not going to do anything about it. I recieved it when Sajid Mahmood bowled a beamer at me in the nets at Lancashire. :mutters under breath: Stupid Aussie

LOL that was a great one. "Now I'd like to ask Mr.Pleavin a question. How come England's performances have been lopsided after they recently beat Australia in the Ashes series?"
That's a good one!

Mr. Pleavin: The boys go drinking every night. :looks hard at Freddie:. Well in all seriousness I think in pakistan they all had a bit of Ashes fever and thought they we're untouchable. They should have won in Pakistan. It was unacceptable but in India we performed well in the tests but in all the ODI's we need improvement. Any more questions.

"Well that is totally horrible! I can't beleive I'm hearing this scum! Next question is for Mr.Vaughan... how was the birth of your new baby? Did you enjoy it?"

OK here's the last one, then you can get on with your season: :)
"Mr Trescothic, how can you possibly improve you damned pathetic batting technique?"

Trescothick: Thank you for your manners by the way. My 'pathetic' batting technique is always improving. While I was ill I was driving my wife crazy with me swinging my bat around and working on footwork. I broke her lamp yesterday. Even with my technique I've always seemed to score runs.

DISASTROUS START TO THE TEST SERIES

What a start to the test series. What a bowling performance from the Lankans. Kevin Pietersen is the only one who has shown any kind of resistance.

It all started pretty good for England with Threscothick and Strauss making 22 before Trescothick misses a yorker from Vass to be caught plumb LBW

It wasn't too long until Murali bowls a magic over to get rid of Strauss(15) and Bell(5). First to go was Bell who got a shocking LBW decision and Strauss who missed a quicker straighter one. MUrali magic makes it 34-3.

Pietersen and Collingwood needed to do something and they got England up to 68-3 until Collingwood goes for a foolish second run and is out by a mile. That gets Freddie to the crease who strokes a lovely four through the covers and next ball edges to the keeper. Typical Fred. Then the umpire called lunch and with the score at 72-5 KP(25*) and G.Jones(0) need a big partnership and the tail needs to wag as well. Tune in.

Opinions? Advice?
