Nice. Looks good. Here is the college Im at:

http://www.asfc.ac.uk/
Thats the sixth form I'm going to in September. Doing English lang, history, law and politics, I think, might change History for Geography though. Thought about media studies, but wasn't too sure. Was told it wasn't a neccessity for journalism anyway, so hopefully it'll be ok. Looking forward to getting away from Science and Maths!

Good to see you have been enroled mate! :cheers

When your start date? I have to go back on Sep 2nd to get my timetable for the second year.

Looking at the acceptance pack, can enroll from 21st August (GCSE results day), then lessons start on 1st September.

 Im sure I don't go back till the 6th September or something. I finish 9th July, but, I have only got 3 pieces of C/W to hand in (and I went to be the teacher Rejected them ) So when I have handed them in, they want to sign me off early, so I could be finished for the summer before next weekend!

Oh, check out the Planet Cricket United thread

I never get enough of how good Brighton is as a Uni, Matt. It's well respected around here. Brighton is a good city as well.

Yeah, from what i've seen of it the place looks lovely. It's the fact that it's so close to Stevie that has me worried.

I'm off to Salford Uni :D Matt, you have another year left don't you?

Erm...Looking forward to it? Maybe, not sure yet, a lot of beer to be drunk and parties to attend before then.

Yeah i've got another year of college left first. I've been looking to get work placements in various magazines accross the north west as well to get me prepared. I've already done a bit of work with Four Four Two and the Liverpool Echo. NME won't have me yet though, no matter how many articles I write them! Fingers crossed for me though. I think UCLAN is my number 1 priority at the moment.

Hate that place with a passion, plus Preston is trampy! (can't really say anything about trampiness and chav-i-ness coming from where i do :p)

Is the course you want any good there?

Haha. Beats me, it was last year when I worked there! I got to see the office though where all the lads worked though. It was bloody brilliant; all they did was play head tennis with a football and throw things at each other. Of course the only things I did was make the tea and answer the phone and stuff, but I did get to say hello to Gary Speed when he was doing some interview or something!

evertonfan added 0 Minutes and 46 Seconds later...

Yeah, it's actually the top rated in the UK. :p

Top in the UK for your course surely? As its probably the worst uni in't NW!

yeah yeah that's what meant. The SPorts Journalism course in uclan is the highest rated in the UK unless the sexy student woman was lying to me. I quite fancy Brighton though. Just for a bit of a scenery change. Get away from all the plastic scousers then.

You're still young... phyisics and chemistry together is simply hell.... I thought IT was easy too, well it was for the first term, now it's not as fun as it was before and I don't really enjoy it.

I took Physics and Chemistry last year (9th Grade/Year/Standard/Whatever you call it).

And you're still here to tell us about it! Well done!

I wrote a chemistry exam today, and pysics was Tuesday, both weren't nice papers, but then when are there ever nice exams?

At least I can be happy knowing that I've only got pre-lims in September and then finals in November to go... then I'm done!

Physics is quite easy. Just memorize a few formulas and values and SHABAM - your done.

Chemistry, on the other hand, is tougher.

I got 97% on both classes so quite pleased with that :D

Im taking ICT, History, Buisness and Physcology next year, althought not sure if i wana do ict dont wana go down as a nerd.
