OK guys, I have diligently worked my way through all of the FAQs and stickys and scoured the web for answers all to no avail. 
I have the original copy of BLC99 and want to run it on XP. I've downloaded the Codemasters XP patches for all the graphics options. I've set all the compatability settings all over the place. And I still can't make the damn thing work!! :help
I have 2 different problems. If I use D3D High then the game runs but without displaying the textures. If I use the software option, the display corrupts completely. Has anyone had similar problems? If so, did you ever get around them? Oh yes, and if I use any of the other graphics options the game tries to load and just hangs until I have to restart the machine.
