field editors - too easy to score runs

Can someone help i have downloaded lordrippons field editor but cant get it to work , what do i have to do? Does any one else agree you have to have a 3rd man in or in easy runs,the cpu players dont use the glide or late cut much, but when i bat there are no fielders behind square,too easy. ::

After unzipping the editor, double click the field deditor icon to open a diagram of the playing field with numbers on it. These are the hex numbers which show the field positions in c2k2.
Click on open, and in the box that appears go to your c2k2 folder/data/editor then one day or test. Then open the folder which you wish to amend and you'll see 15 cfg files. Double click on one , then click on 'view your field' to see the fielding positions.
Then click on 'back' and amend the field positions by entering the equivalent hex number on the diagram in one of the boxes on the right hand side.
Keep clicking 'save' and 'view your field' to see the fielding changes you've made.

how do i install the feild editor........where do i place which folder.....the documents and settings folder...where does it go?????? and where do the others go??????

Yea thanks but i get a message run time error path not found,also in the notes it says have to have current folder arrangement? make sure field1bmpis in specified location? can you help?

Hmmm, not sure potter. Have you tried mailing LordRippon? His e-mail add should be on the readme or click the 'about' button.

place the folder in the d drive........it works for me now......don't put it in c drive!!!!!!just paste the documents and settings folder in the d drive!!!!!

and has anyone edited any fields??????? if so can u send me the cfg files plzzzz...........which fields do the computer use at different times for different bowlers???? if some1 can tell me then i'll edit only those fields!!!!! if some1 has edited feilds to make it tougher for human players to score (specially to third man) plzzz send them to me at [email protected]

well it looks as if im buggered my d drive is my cd drive so i dont know how to copy anything to that,thanks for your help,im sure someone will come up with something soon.

if u can tell me which fields the computer uses and at what time of the game and on what situation ..when batsmen well settled which 1 do they use and when they just come in which field.....if u could give me those details and i can edit those feilds for those situations and send u the .cgf files!!

Thanks well all of the defence fields at least need a 3rd man and fine leg,i think it would make for better batting,maybe some ai on these games,after so many runs in an certain area change the field.I would gladley take those files if you can make them for me .cheers Potter.

post your e-mail address and I'll mail you my fields. Remember though that field placings are a matter of personal choice and mine have been tailored to match the stroke files I use, but I'll willingly send you them if you want.
