Fifa 09

It doesn't sound that great - FIFA 03 (maybe others too) had a seperate creation centre tool which you could download to add as many leagues/teams/players as you liked, and the stadium creation is most likely really basic like the "Stand type - 1-10 Stand Size - 1-10, Seat Colour etc." thing in FIFA Manager, I very much doubt that you will be able to download very accurate stadiums that people make and import them, but somebody may make something like PES kitserver to allow stadiums to be used, but they look amateurish compared to the rest of the graphics in PES 08, with little or no proper lighting effects on most of them.

I agree, the gfx standard of the stadiums varied, some were very good, some not so. Still, better than nothing! I'd much rather have more stadiums of less quality that get bored of the same old stadiums, even though they look better. And going by what everyone's saying, they haven't done much work on the stadiums in PC Fifa 09.

Here's a link with loads of stadiums for Fifa 08, that the guys over at the EA forum seem to think will work with Fifa 09 as well:

Edit: Did you use the creation tool with Fifa 03? Were you able to find the Conference for d/l?

Agreed, I loved Fifa 2003, until I kept winning all the time, it just got too easy. I have no idea why they didn't just build on that game! When I first clapped eyes on Fifa 2003 and first saw the entry scene at the stadium at night (after upgrading my GPU), I was like 'WOW! I haven't been that impressed by a football game for a long time. Here's hoping that Fifa '09 is when the series turns the corner on PC! :upray

Edit: Going by this, I think you can integrate new leagues into the MM, but it might prove a little tricky and fiddly:

If you add new leagues and players etc you will need to start a new manager mode. If you add a new league then you will have to configure league 2 to relegate the last 2 in that league to the new conference league you made and vice versa. If you want teams from the new league in the FA cup then you will need to edit the tournament to include teams from your new league. Be aware though if you add new leagues and teams if there is so much as 1 texture or graphic missing then your game will likely crash so make sure you do a good job at it. Maybe if you get in contact with rinaldo he might find time to help you although adding new leagues is not that complicated.

MasterBlaster76 added 2 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

Them Screenshots look emense

Which shots look immense? The PC ones or the NG ones? If you're talking NG, I agree, immense is a great word. As for PC, they're only 'good'. EA have made some progress, but still aren't pushing PC's gfx as far as they can go.

Yeps, I'd be happier if they said they were going to throw the whole lot out and start from scratch with a, you know, new engine! Not one that has been around since '04... :rolleyes:

Uber Fit ? She looks like a boiled horse.

Looks like a pretty nice soundtrack though, Fifa always has some great songs on it, wouldn't be an EA Sports game without a decent soundtrack.

Sorry Matt, but this is one of the few things that you're wrong about :P. I cannot see anything "uber fit" about this:

She's welsh, has a large nose, her eyebrows are too dark, and she's got a manly chin. No thankyou.

That is a terrible pic of her;
