Google Chrome for me.

Firefox, as Abhas said ruined Facebook, it was a very nice browser and I really enjoyed using it. Chrome is just quicker, in my opinion, and is a nice simple browser.

Everything is much better than IE. It is the worst browser ever. Doesn't comply with internet standards, is slow and stupid. I use firefox or chrome, Firefox is very handy with its addons, but don't go too far, I did and mine is a bit wieldy to use now. Chrome also has addons but not as good. Opera is also excellent, the fastest browser. Safari is not too bad either.

No, what I meant was the way IE 8 highlights legitimate sites - FF 3.6 doesn't do anything like that, but I reckon they'll probably copy them for the next version. Does Firefox block dodgy free downloads as well - can't say I've ever seen it - or maybe I've just not downloaded anything dodgy...

Apparently, IE 8 highlights the name of the site in black if it's legitimate.

Edit: One other thing I've found - sometimes when accessing a secure site when using Firefox, although the address is an https, the little padlock often has a red exclamation mark on it - it goes away when refreshing the screen. Doesn't seem to happen with IE 8 - any idea why that is?
Maybe IE is better in security(But I seriously doubt Microsoft is good in this :D) But when compared to speed, stability etc Firefox always rules. and I suppose today's AV softwares are good enough to stop bad downloads. At least avast does the job for me :)

I wouldn't so sure of Firefox totally in the speed department. Yes, its fast enough, but it definitely doesn't feel the fastest. Besides its memory footprint is huge (Or at least is in my PC).

I mostly use FF except for when I have to stream Window Media Player, for some reason it does not work on FF for me.

Also there are many other applications I use which are IE only, so no choice there

There is a solution named Coral IETab it can switch to IE rendering engine in Firefox itself :banana2 I personally use it

I prefer FF. I've never got Chrome to work properly and I've tried it on at least 4 different computers with completely different configurations and form factors (desktop, laptop, netbook, etc.). I keep getting the "Oops! Chrome could not load this page" which seem to be some sort of time-out issue, but they happen way too often for it to be usable, at least for me.

I used to be a religious IE6 user back in the formative years of FF. I think Microsoft just completely screwed their browser up from IE7 onwards. The user experience just isn't the same.

I Use Opera ,Chrome,FF And Safari
And I Like Opera because its fast and reliable and got infinite tabs which is useful to me

no google chrome in the poll:(
anyway in my opinion google chrome is by far the best browser it is convienient and fast
ie 8 is just absolute useless.it is slow and slower than ie 7
google chrome also looks better than firefox
it also fully supportive of youtube it organises you tube in a better way
