Firefox 3.6 v Internet Explorer 8 or 9

no google chrome in the poll
anyway in my opinion google chrome is by far the best browser it is convienient and fast
ie 8 is just absolute useless.it is slow and slower than ie 7
google chrome also looks better than firefox
it also fully supportive of youtube it organises you tube in a better way

On my side FF streams youtube vids much faster than chrome

IE9 is under development..it wont be compatible with XP since it is little H/W sensitive IE9 beta is out but not a fully designed beta..

IE isn't any good. It never has been. It doesn't follow the standards making it harder for web designers to make their site compatible with it and the user experience is substandard compared other browsers.
Between IE and FF, FF wins.

Thought of bumping this thread. I recently downloaded IE 9 beta and it is obviously better than the previous version. The new Chakra! script they have used to boost the speed up is pretty good, but still the lags exist.

IE 9 is a good attempt, but nowhere near to the smoothness and ease-of-use which Chrome has. For those who keep an interest in such things, IE 9 is worth a try.
