Oldroyd better not lose us the match by scoring too slowly. He's 9* off 21 and now I need 5.69 an over.

Now he's hogging the strike. He's faced the last 13 balls and 18 off the last 21 balls.

This is going down to the wire. 55 from 9 overs to win. Ali is 84* and Oldroyd is 21*. That last over of 9 runs with Ali finally getting some strike and hitting 5 runs in the 3 balls he faced to get us in a pretty good position. Now if Ali takes most of the strike, we should win.

Man. Oldroyd out for 21. Kwistel off the mark first ball with 2. 50 off 8 overs to win with 4 wickets in hand. Here is Ali with each 10 runs and his balls faced.

10 (22 balls)
20 (32 balls) - 10 for his second lot of 10 runs
30 (40 balls) - 8 for his third lot of 10 runs
40 (51 balls) - 11
50 (63 balls) - 12
60 (78 balls) - 15
70 (92 balls) - 14
80 (100 balls) - 8

fearsome tweak you Kwistel. Firstly bats out from the second to the 5th ball of the over without scoring then scores a single off the final ball to retain the strike. He hits 2 doubles to start the next over though followed by a wide. Ali is currently 88* off 104.

Kwistel now out. 220/7. 39 required off 6 overs, Ali with the strike on 89*.

Well done Zafar Ali. 100* off 114 balls with the game still in the balance. 27 required from 4 overs now.

████. Ali getting nervous at the moment. Only managed 3 in the 5 balls he faced last over and Tindall is now out for a duck. 235/8 with 3 overs remaining, 24 runs to win. This has been a great match.

End of over 50 (2 runs) - Saurashtra Lions(317-9) RR 6.34
S. Makwana 0 (1b) , R. Singh 23 (37b) , D. Napier 10-0-70-3

A hattrick for Napier!

49.5 W Napier to Kumble : Angling into Kumble before cutting away, Kumble fails to move his feet and, wrongly trying to work it to leg, gets an audible outside edge and off he goes.
A. Kumble c D. Foley b. D. Napier 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

49.4 W Napier to Yellepeddy : Gone!! Yellepeddy flashes hard at a rising ball outside off stump, only to get a top edge that sails high down to third man, where it is pouched comfortably by Bekedam.
A. Yellepeddy c E. Bekedam b. D. Napier 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

49.3 W Napier to Cush : Napier gets that one to cut sharply off the seam. Cush sticks his bat out in hope but can only manage to get a faint edge. Foley dives to his right and takes that one just inches from the turf much to the delight of Napier. Cush can't believe his luck and begins the long walk back to the sheds.
A. Cush c D. Foley b. D. Napier 43 (41b 2x4 0x6) SR:104.88

Not expected this type of end... ;)

Unbelievable. Ali out for 111, now I have one wicket in hand and 13 to win from 10 balls. This will be the most heartbraking loss.

It's all over. James out for a duck. They win by 12 runs. That was a very close match and I think we deserved it thanks to Ali's performance. He just fell when we needed him. And he didn't even take MOTM, Coyle did of the opposition with 4/32. Still winless after 3 games.

Yea, I know its not a win against a top flight team but a win is a win. Besides, I haven't been playing long. Still got a long way to go before I can compete against stronger opponents. I mean it was only yesterday I got toppled for 70 all out. :laugh

Oh you've definitely got your game wrapped up. Just looking through your league and I saw this:

Tbones tools won by 447 runs

501/5 from his 50 overs.

I've only been playing for one week more than you :p

I'm playing the team that he owned in that match next week, so hopefully I can get a huge win to up my NRR. Because of that match Tbones is top of the table on NRR, with us two the only two unbeaten sides. My match rating is much higher than his though, so hopefully i move up a league.

While I am going to relegate in One Day, probably promote in Youth and finish mid to upper table in T20. My goals in the next 3 seasons is to get into Div 3 for all formats and be stable with midtable positions in all formats.

24.1 1 W Kumble to Thompson : [runout] A huge mix up there and Napier is well short of his ground.
D. Napier run out (A. Yellepeddy) 0 (0b 0x4 0x6) SR: -

Got a Diamond Duck... :p

I've only been playing for one week more than you :p

I thought you had been playing for way longer than that. :laugh My next game is a T20. Haven't been much good at those.

BTW, I think we're supposed to organize a match for that FTP World Tours thing. IIRC, I'm down to play you.

My third loss this season :crying . Luckily, another team in my league has an even poorer NRR and 2 teams are on 1 win, so still a chance to recover.

Apparently. I was changing some ground conditions and saw this:

Supporters Club: Hawks Army

There should be a way to change it cause Hawks Army just sounds lame.

Yea you can change it, dunno where. I managed to do it somewhere I think
