Afternoon ladies! I did a search and found a couple of music related threads. But none to really what I wanted to talk about.

So, please do tell, what bands and albums you are into at the moment.

Im loving Yellowcards new album, aswell as Fall Out Boy. The Ordinary Boys seem to be becoming popular now also, love the track 'Boys Will be Boys'.

Well the album in my CD Player right now is Deicides Scar Of The Crucifix album. Not for the faint of heart :p

Had some HMV vouchers lying around, so I bought Coldplay - X & Y and the Artic Monkeys Debut album - both well worth your money.

Good lad, someone with my taste in music :D

Im more of an RnB guy, like the club tunes, especially when you have a girl grinding on you :D

Favourite artist is probably Kanye West, he's just turned the whole industry upside down with what he's done and how its been done considering the past he's had! James knows what im talking about from our frequent singing of Touch The Sky in the chat room :)

Kanye West? Pffft! Not quite as bad as Take That, but getting there!Golddigger? Pure tripe. Awful song.

How dare you! :mad Gold Digger is a fantastic song, both Kanye's albums have been amazingly good and even the short appearances he has in other artists songs, somehow manage to create that extra vibe within the song! Kanye is an outstanding artist!

50cent, tupac all that kinda stuff, know what a'mean.;)

50 Cent is a big girls blouse! I liked his first couple of songs, but now he's gone too commercial and is way too far up his own ass! He is virtually trying to copy Eminem's career but just not being as successful.

I like 2pac, his music is very enspiring and its a shame his life was brought to an end when it was because he had so much left in him and had he still been around today it would have been amazing to see some of the colaborations he could have had with some of the leading artists in the hip hop game.

Im also a big fan of Jay Z, his music is awesome and some of the tunes he has created have been stunning.

how about the Notorious B.I.G
Some of his songs on Ready To Die were good, his latest remix album for me features too many other artists and not enough biggie. He was also an amazing artist and again it was a shame his life was ended early too, its a shame back then that hip hop was enravelled with so much contraversy and conspiracies, it nearly killed off the music.

I basically ignore a lot of the music that's been made in the last decade (bar U2). Into The Who, Queen, INXS, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and the Whitlams. Favourite albums are all of the 12th man albums.

12th man are good laugh, I probably got all of them.
Btw I m listening to Shakira-oral fixation lately.:p

The album I like listening to at the moment is the official soundtrack for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory by Amon Tobin. Although the music sounds weird, it makes from a good change to the normal music that you would hear.
To explain what it sounds like - it is a mix of classical and techno/rock.
