I think he 'follows' you because you usually post so much that the threads become bolded very quickly and appear as "unread".

He's just reading all the unread posts.

Well, it might be a user bot configured to visit everyday and visit the most recent thread. And when you post that thread immediately becomes the most recent one so he reads it.
