As Hampshire build up to a new season there bowling as been boosted with the signing of Australian Strike bowler Stuart Clark. Stuart Clark did not say much as he was jet lagged because of his plane trip from Australia to the West indies for the World Cup, but Jim Maxwell got a quick word with him. "Stuart how do you feel to be back playing County cricket?" "Oh it's great i can't wait to play with Warnie and KP i am really looking forward to it." "How do you feel replacing Brett Lee?" It's not the best situation to be coming in at but i am happy i will be playing in the world cup to try and cement a place in the one-day team. "The county season is still a fair way away but what made you choose to come over to England for the English Summer?" "Well Jim i was really happy with my test peformances last year during the Ashes and i feel that the more cricket i play the better i am going to get, I need to show the Australian selectors i am not a one hit wonder and that i am here for good, to take over from Glenn and Brett."
It's Been a pleasure Stuart and good luck for the World Cup.
