Hamphire's first game will be against Lancashire.

Shane Warne has one the toss and has elected to bat. Warne had no trouble electing to bat as Manchester produced a very nice hard wicket and should produce many runs.

Warne told Mark Nicholas that the top order has to get off to a good start so we can build a solid total.

Adams was caught behind on the 4th delivery of the day from the bowling of Cork for naught. Benham then was the next to go trying to loft over mid on when we was cleaned bowled. Pothas has been playing very sensible all morning and is the key for Hampshire to make a solid total. Lanashire made a surprise move when introducing Keedy in the 7th over. Keedy struck in the 3rd ball of the over trapping Crawley lbw for 3.
