Oh my bad, didnt know Indians would want to live in a country like Australia.

Easy, dont live here then.

And you're proud to defend Ricky Ponting who's a sourpuss and a crybaby on the field and moreover claims false catches which everybody sees in tv replays?

What a waste of space...

Replays of the catch at silly point were inconclusive at best. He rightly didn't claim the one at second slip off Dravid in the first innings.

You do not know my views on Ponting as I have never stated them and will not do so with people whose debating skills are as highly honed as yours aren't. You have made a declaration that racism is perfectly OK and for that you should be condemmed by everyone on this board regardless of their nationality. Anyone who supports your stance deserves the same treatment.

Well, as far as I know, I never stated that racism was OK. You dare accuse me of racism??

Some Australian members asked what the big deal was about and if you guys think it's not a big deal, why was Harbhajan handed a 3 match ban?

And when I said racism is illegal you are the ones who're saying it's not illegal. And you guys have the audacity to say that I claimed that racism is perfectly OK. In fact, I was the one who started the thread stating that Racism is so serious that the ICC should not deal with it but it should be dealt with in courts.

Get a sense of perspective and stop flinging accusations at us...

I appologise, I picked up the wrong thread to reply to. You didn't make the comment I was referring to. Please accept my appologies

No problem. Apologies accepted and thank you.

Haha, still can't read. I never said I had a problem with the country, its with the PEOPLE THAT REPRESENT IT.

please read my posts before typing garbage.

Fact: Australians follow proper channels to help stamp out racism from the game

Fact: Indians Burn Effigies and insight hate

Who's in the right, you be the judge

So because a few loonies burn effigies you brand the whole of India as hateful?

Woww.... great logic...

The BCCI has also gone through the legal channels to resolve this issue... and they are the official representatives of Indian cricket. Not some loonies burning effigies.

Look mate none of you (and the indians as well) understand how duplicit Ponting's character is (or as portrayed in this match). With no pressure Ponting will abide to morals and ethics (as seen in the first innings) but this goes through the window when under pressure. He can do anything at all costs if under serious pressure. Thats partly why Roebuck been calling for Ponting's resignation.

For me personally the Ganguly dismissal was the biggest insult. Mark Benson was unsure if Clarke caught it and asks Ponting (not the 3rd umpire) if he's out. Ponting says yes and the unsure Benson gives it out. Compare this to the first test where Kumble (who didn't edge it) supposedly knicked one and Gilchrist caught a low diving catch. Now the kiwi umpire is unsure and calls for the 3rd umpire who later found it indeed carried. Gilchrist said he caught it but it was still referred. Kumble was given out. Thats how it should've been in the Sydney test match. And Ponting isn't a cry baby. Don't make me laugh. He fights with the umpire when it doesn't go his way. Gilchrist, Clarke, the Indian team and Steve Waugh have never fought with the umpire on the field to the extent ponting has in the past. For evidence go to youtube. Mate your captain is an absolute tosser just like your former PM. I'm glad Kevin Rudd came to power cause he's a far more decent bloke. Australians as a whole aren't tossers but there are a few uncultured individuals who spoil it. I've never thought Australia was a racist country back when SA toured and i think again the Aussie team as a whole aren't complete ******s. Its just 1 or 2 perhaps 3.

...Ok, Im not going to reply to your crap now. Your just making little spin off arguments with no relevance. I was stupid to follow your bait. I cant be screwed arguing with someone as lame as you.

Cya

Comparing Ponting, the brat, to Steve Waugh the legend is an insult to Steve Waugh.

Even Australian fans on this board should accept that Steve Waugh, tough as he was, never stooped to Ponting's level.

Yeah India are now known as the biggest crybabies in world cricket. I've gotten plenty of PM's from people on this forum who are neither Indian or Australian who are laughing at how childish India have acted over the past few days.

Yawn... your own renowned cricket writer Peter Roebuck said that Ponting should be sacked and how much of a crybaby he was...

That was from an Australian writer.

The whole world knows how low Australian cricketers stoop to distract the opponents on the field. Even players like Ntini of South Africa know how abusive the Australian crowds can be...

Get a reality check done first...

What makes me laugh is that Ponting is the crybaby and now you have to be so biased that you support him. I'm sad, but you're carrying on the fight well...

I was simply pointing out that there are elements of indian culture which are disturbing and make the situation a whole lot worse. I am not saying by any strech of the imagination that aussies are squeaky clean, but we do not go to those extreams over sport
