Have you ever been to an International Cricket Game?

Yeah, it's rained the last two Sydney Tests. I've been to the 4th Test against India, the tour of 2003/04, day 4 I think, where Tendulkar finished off with 241* or something, and also the Katich hundred/Waugh's second last innings partnership on the same day.
I've been to around 5 ODI matches, most have been pushovers, not necessarily in Australia's favour though.

I have been to loads. Here is a few:

1 - 1999 World Cup Final - Aus .v. Pak
2 - Ashes 1997 - OT Test
3 - Ashes 2005 - OT Test - Saturday and Monday
4 - Eng .v. WI 2004 - OT Test - Sunday and Monday
5 - Eng .v. NZ 1999 - OT Test - Saturday

me and my mates always go to New Zealand matches at Queenstown Events Centre we went to the very first ODI held their in 2003 between New Zealand and India

annoying thing is the sound of the planes when they fly by

also been to gabba for the 1st test between Australia and New Zealand in 2004

Is this thread serious??

I've lost count of how many times i have been to the cricket....

Is it harder to get to a match in other countries or something?

Last test I went to was the boxing day test between AUS and SAF. Great to see Hussey make his 100 :D

The test match before that was AUS V PAK where Langer made 194 and Gilchrist 65 :D

Haven't been to an ODI since around 2000 when Australia played South Africa (and lost :( )

Yes it's serious. You have to remember it is about the size of grounds in different countries. Here in England, Lords is the biggest which isn't very big for Australia. Also it's about people's locations! You may live in one of the stadiums cities, but it isn't like that in England. It's a culture situation.

I've been to quite a lot too, but can't top the WC final cudos JIM

I've been to two matches. One was the 6th ODI in England's last tour of India, with which they managed to draw the series, and the other was the 2nd (or 3rd--whatever, last) day of the India-Australia test match in the most recent tour. Both in Mumbai.

I speak from India's point of view, here. Mumbai gets maybe one game every 2-3 series. And that game is packed full. It takes almost 2 hours to get into the stadium (you gotta start early) sometimes, so yeah, it is pretty difficult to watch cricket.

Is that the one where Australia got bowled out for 97? would of been good .
Yup, that was the one. It was particularly gratifying when Justin Langer was right in front of our stand when India was like 8 wickets down, and he was practicing his forward defensive, to annoy us; and he then went on to get dismissed second ball playing a similar shot.

Oh ok, i must take going to the cricket for granted then :p

I don't think there has ever been a sell-out here...... Not even for the Super series which was held at the Telstra Dome which can only hold 50,000. I just rocked up and bought a ticket.....

I was at Chepauk for the 4th day of the 2nd test match between India and Australia in 2004. India was converging on a huge win, when Martyn and Dizzy decided to blunt it out. I remember screaming at Ganguly for his poor rotation of bowlers. And it rained cats and dogs in the evening, match ended in a draw.

i have been to two odis at cuttack both of which india lost so i am planning not to go to any cricket match that india plays from now on :crying

i have been 3 times 1st Pak vs BD test match in Peshawar when M Hafeez scored 100.2nd Pak vs SA 5th ODI in Rawalpindi Pakistan lost that match and last time Pak vs Eng 4th ODI in Rawalpindi.but i think its better to see the match on TV then go to stadium specially in Pakistan.
