Help with Faces and Bats

Hi All,

I have owned Cricket 2004 on the PC for about a week and a half now, and have mastered MOST of the stuff. I've downloaded the Config Editor V2 & 3, a lot of tv graphics, but don't know how to download FACES OR BATS. I require a detailed step by step guide to this.

E.G:

1. Put the faces in your data/bats folder...

Thanks Barmy Army, it shows me how to download bats, but, unless I've misread, nothing about faces. Is it a bitmap image???

you have to donaload the graphics importer, then find the face you want to replace, then click import and find the face you want to replace it with, then click ok and its done,

be sure to back up the originals first kos if u dont like the new ones then u can change them back!

What do you mean Will P? How do I know which face to replace and where do I go? Is it all done with the GI? :confused:

GI shows all the faces in the game. Unfortunately there are only a limited number to be replaced so if you give Steve Harmison his correct face there will be a load of other players looking like him too.
Player Editor will also let you choose a face for a particular player but once again the prob above still remains. Personally I use custom umpire faces but keep the generic player faces.

I'm thinking about downloading the England v South Africa Faces, ready for the One Day Series which begins at the Wanderers tomorrow. In my Bats folder at the moment I have the ICC Umpire Faces, but I don't know what to do with them. I extracted everything in the folder to my Bats folder and imported as zip, but it says "Unknown Zip Format". Do I need to use the import as Bitmap option instead? Please help. I have downloaded the following:
Cool Gameplay Patch Beta Version,
Sky Sports TV Graphics Patch,
South Africa A One Day kit,
West Indies Away Kit 2005
Kits Update
England ODI Roster

And to download that I've used:
Config Editor Version 2 and 3
Graphics Importer Version 2.2
Line Up Editor

How do I get an Avatar? I used to have one, but the colour was faded and I had to shrink it to make it the right size to fit.

don't extract to bats, I think..........and yes u have ta use inport as bitmap.

Nah, nothing seems to work. Apparently there is no bitmap images in ICC umpires faces Folder.

1> for sky sports u have to extract all the files using winrar or winzip to bats folder and then using grahics importer import it as zip.
2> for southafrica odi kit u have to use graphics importer and imort as bitmap.
3> if it is not in gi format then u have to use 2nd step and if it is in gi format then use graphics imorter and imort as zip.
4> for kit update use only import as zip option
5> for england odi roster use line up editor and import the roster

Why on EARTH are you telling me this? I'VE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THAT.
