Dear Forum Users,
I am a regular visitor to this Planet Cricket website and have downloaded many items from it to enhance my Cricket 2004 gaming experience. I am now hoping to create my own Patch and would like a Forum User to give me a step-by-step guide with easy to understand words. I will then be able to make, test and release my very own Patch for Cricket 2004. I have thoroughly checked an earlier thread with Frequently Asked Questions and Patch Guide, but it does not provide me with precise answers I require. Please help.

Yours Faithfully,
Skateboarder 2 :help

Well have you checked this document?

Patching is really easy, you just need to find the right combinations and values. All you have to do is to edit the values found in the cfg editor.

And if you need any help pm me or we'll talk on msn.

Yeah Zim's stroke editor tutorial is included in the doucment I provided. All the info in there,is written by Zim and Ravi(not by me)..I just copied all the stuff into 1 doucment for referring while making patches.

Thank-You

Dear gold639 and Shailesh,
I would like to thank you both for your helpful contributions to this thread. I read gold369's attached document and found it very helpful. I also looked at the link you supplied, Shailesh. That was extremely helpful too. As a test to see if it would work, I made the CPU get lots and lots of edges. I then ran Cricket 2004 and played a match between the All Stars and Namibia. Namibia were all out for 29, most of the wickets coming from edges so it obviously worked. I will leave making a patch for a while, but will definitely make one some time in the future. I am at School tomorrow and will not return home until 3:20pm, so I will return to the Forums then. Thanks again for your help, I have added to your reputations. :drinks

Good luck with your patch. Just as a tip you don't need to sign all your posts. People know your UserID and Join Date from the info on the lefthand bar.

good luck! do release the patch once you are done :)

Thank-You, Barmy Army and Shailesh. I signed my posts because I had a letter format. I will release my patch in the near future, although not just yet. I still have to get to grips with the whole editing thing.

Special Thank-You to you, Barmy Army your Kit Update (Broadband Version) has made the game really up-to-date, but you may need to tweak the South Africa ODI Kit.

Is it out-of-date? I didn't see the game today but I'm sure if you post some pics someone will make the new kit.

Only a few kits are out-of-date.......such as the WI kit,PAK kit.

But I have downloaded the separate downloads for these kits to make them upto date.
