Your ones about No-CD patches have been changed by me because even if you do all have the CD and just cant be bothered putting it into your CD-drive, some people may not have bought the game and take advantage of these patches. Having no-cd patches on the Sports Gaming network is banned and could lead to BLC Online getting chucked of SGN.

however lobby with the .TIM file editing we are not effecting the money that Codemasters or Sony get or making any money are selves while with no-cd patches people may copy the game instead of buying it or download it.

This may be ok in countries were you cannot get the game like Zimbabwe but when people do it in the UK when its sold for ?4.99 it is not right.

then the logos,kits,etc.are also illegal,do you know,if u want put the original things to the game,we should get licence form acb or ecb etc .thats y cricket2002 has not got original kits.if u put any official logos(vodofone,travlex)on a commerial game it is also illegal.ste,the no-cd patch was not on your site,i asked members via forum to download it from my page. mike also has no-cd patchs.ste i think u know better than me.i know u very well ste(cricketgames.com/forums/bravenet)do u remember me.i give no-cd patchs for blcfans who dont want to use cd every time when they play the game.this is not a crack type.with these files alone no one can play blc right.

What is legal then ??? P2P is legal then why not sharing things on a web page illegal ..... I think there is a big problem with the law on computers. We are just sharing knowledge about things.. So I guess the policy of sgn is wrong.....

It is still linked to on the forums which is not allowed.
Whether the SGN policy is wrong or right having a link to the file on this forum - which the messages can be found in googles searchs - makes it easy for anyone who has maybe borrowed the CD from a friend to have the full game using a no-cd patch without paying for it. Its ok for you to send it via email to forum members who will have the proper CD but not link directly to it.


As for the licences, we are not selling the kits or making any money from making new stuff for BLC so companies will not mind. People have been doing this for FIFA for years.

Dont see what all of the fuss is about really, I mean with the Graphics we can do whatever we please as long as we don't make any money off the game. Infact more people have probably bought the game because of the graphics etc. that we've made

As far as NO-CD patches.....by buying the CD we r the ones who benefit because companies like EA and Codemasters have money to make other cricket games. As opposed to us just letting everybody have a copy for free because we the gamers we're the ones who lose the most. Ste is quite right with what he's said..

and Besides from what I see those no-cd patches were done before codemasters realseased their patch so they don't make a whole lot of sense because all the patch corrections are gone!

I wont dispute the policy of this board and if anyone wants the files just leave your emails. But what I fail to understand is if someone has downloaded the game why would they not have all the files with them or else why download the game, and then why would they need the patches any ways. And why hasnt anyone sued megagames.com, thats where I got all the files long time ago anyways. Now they only have one i think.

If you download the game it may have the .EXE modified but if you download the BLC patch you will need a new No-CD patch. The NO-CD patches are mainly used by people borrowing the CD and coping the CD when the gold disc wont work because of copy protection.

Hi

I need a no cd patch because I bought my BLC thru sold out software and their cd does not work if I install the blc patch for 15 over restriction and wides etc. The idiots at sold out software did not even help me with support they told me they are working on a patch for it 5 months ago and still have not responded to my questions. When I emailed Codemasters to ask if they have some solution they said the BLC codebase has been archived and no further patches are available.

Having spent a lot of money finding and buying BLC I don't want to get cheated by not being able to install the patch. So I think I am entitled to go out and try to find a no cd patch if someone can give me one because both sold out and codemasters have abandoned giving any help to me.
