my password in this forum has been hacked - ste pls help

hi ste and all the forum members !!!
some brat,rogue , bastard has hacked my password in this forum.....i dont know what the #### is going on in this forum..ste pls take strict action ..this is becoming too much now...i dont know what is the problem with these people y cany they live in this world with peace and let live others peacefully
ste pls pls do somrething about it..it is becoming a serious matter now

u have been less cooperative in stopping this. u didnt cooperate with us (me & siskue) to catch that guy who flooded the forum. as u told he is from kerala,ind. any way its time to take some strict actions.

How do you know your password has be hacked? What has been changed?

hello ste!!!
i am telling u this because today i tried to log on in this forum and unfortunately........when i tried to log on a message came .....invalid password...i tried to log on again and again...but no use the password was invalid someone has changed my password........thats not good sign ste

pls help me amd all the forum members regarding this this kind of thing never happened to me before..i'm in to this forum from almost 3 months now..never while loging on i got an invalid password message

If not how have you logged in?

I have checked the admin logs and no-one has tried to hack into the database.

HI STE ..
AFTER I GOT THE MESSAGE AGAIN AND AGAIN INCORRECT PASSWORD I CLICKED ON THE LINK FORGOT PASSWORD..THERE I WAS ASKED TO FILL A FORM IN WHICH I WAS TO MENTION THE E-MAIL ID I MENTIONED MY E-MAIL ID IN WITIN MOMENTS I GOT MY NEW PASSWORD WITH THE HELP OF WHICH I LOGGED IN AND THEREAFTER I WENT TO THE CONTROL PANEL AND CHANGED MY PASSWORD..I'M REALLY CONFUSED NOW..U SAY THAT NO ONE TRIED TO HACK THEN HOW DID MY PASSWORD CHANGE..CAN U PLS EXPLAIN ME

dippy,the forget password works like this,it will give u a different password,(i think it will mail u a new different password.)

i once forgot my password and the forgot password gave me the same password as before how come that
it just gives the correct password

nope siskue in my case i got a different password in my mail box which was very complicated so i went to the control panel and changed my password after that
