How do you earn skill points in career?

Hi all.

Playing in the Sunday league at the start of a career.

Playing on Pro, because I want a challenge later in the game but its so much of a grind right now, so set the bowling difficulty to easy (for now).

I'm getting 5 wicket hauls but not getting many skill points (SP).

In DBC17, completing your challenges (like bowl 8 maidens) seemed to get you SP. But that doesnt seem to be the case now.

Any idea? How have you made your career more interesting?

U get the same SP every match regardless of performance. Once promoted u get more SP but still the same SP for each grade of cricket. The only incentive to play well is to get promoted faster and earn more SP but I wish it doubled down and rewarded individual match performance also. It did in DBC14

I assumed you got more if you hit your targets for wickets, runs, etc?

Dunno if this is a glitch or its part of the game but after a match I went from a 60 to a 78. Everything went up by ~10 points.

Yes, preferred DBC14, if you were crap at the hook/pull, you could grind out an innings and improve it.

Made every innings important.
