How to open the f****** box?

I aint bought a game in a while and today decided on cricket 2005 over BLC.
I get the game home and then see this wierd red security tab on the pc game box.
Im probably being extremely stupid but I cant open the bloody thing.
I tried just pulling the two sides apart and the box snapped by the tab!
Ive pushed the little red tab in but that does f all. how the crap do i open the box?

Just cut it with some scissors

there was no way to cut it with scissors
The plastic red tab was in an indentation in the middle so you couldnt get scissors around it.
In the end i had to cut the entire box to pieces then cut this red plastic bar that ran under the middle of the cd!
I bet there was an easy way to do it too.. grrr

It was working fine in the demo about 1 hr ago..

Yep must be the store people forgot to take the security tag off, good job you didnt cut it as some have red-dye or something in which then would have gone all over the place!
