The Story Behind It:
Following the controversial end to IPL3, and the increasing popularity of T20 and one-day cricket in general, the International Cricket Council (ICC) have taken the opportunity to create a new league with franchises from all over the cricket playing world.
The Format:
There is a T20 league, a Pro40 league and a 50-50 knockout. 10 teams will take part in each competition. Each franchise comes from a city, which will be representing an animal. More details regarding each competition will be given closer to the start of each respective competition.
Franchise Distribution:
Franchises will be distributed on a first come first served basis, each team has a price tag of 50,000 vcash, however, the team will go to the first person to transfer the vcash, you can't say 'xyz team for me, i'll send the vcash later'. The team goes to the first person to send me the vcash.
Squads:
Each team will have a squad of 16 players, 10 of those players have to come from your franchises country, and 6 will be overseas players. One icon player from your franchises country will be assigned to your team. The squads will be chosen via a draft. More details regarding the drafting process will be given closer to the start of it.
