ICC World T20 2010 - West Indies

Hello. After the extremely successful maiden World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007 and the 2nd edition at the Home of Cricket, England in 2009, the THIRD edition of the Word Cup of the shortest format of the game, will be held in a very vibrant part of the world, the Caribbean.

West Indies is synonymous with vibrance. People in the Caribbean love their cricket, a unifying factor for all the nations in the Caribbean. West Indies has been the home of many a legends and champion cricketers. The sheer passion for the game has seen them through some torrid times and the World T20 gives them an opportunity to treat the world to an awesome spectacle... involving a lot of music, dance, beer and the warmth of the people who go all stocks to make sure the guests feel at home.


TEAMS:

12 Teams will be playing for ultimate prize in Twenty20 cricket, which include all the Full members and 2 Associate Nations, who will have to qualify for the World T20 through virtue of playing in the qualifiers scheduled to take place in the UAE. Zimbabwe make a comeback in the tournament after being denied visas to play the 2nd edition in England.

For the WT20 in 2010, the teams have been seeded according to their performance in the 2009 edition of the tournament.

St Lucia plays host for the Semi-Finals and the Final of the WT20 will be held in Barbados.

The brothers from the subcontinent are at it again. I just love those India-Pakistan discussion. No matter what, at the end of the day, we'll still greet each other and consider each other to be great human beings.

Most probably Younis will be again the captain what I came to from the mood of board and Younis.
T20 is very unpredictable may be this time again we have the trophy in the subcontinent.
