Sinclair is not a specialist wicket-keeper. Gilchrist on the other hand is one of the best keepers of all-time, but also happened to be a half-decent batsman while he was at it too.

If I don't end up downloading Cricket Heroes I'll just go with Kshitiz's. A bit skint at the mo, waiting on me payday

I've taken quite a few risks here based on a mixture of factors; I'm not entirely sure whether this is the sort of team that would dominate a competition in a year as early as 2001. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained! The big "surprises" (Hussain and Vaughan not being there) are based on the fact that they aren't T20 style players, and thus would be wasting places in the squad. I've made a few conservative options (Giles especially) but that's because England circa 2001 don't honestly have a great deal of exciting players to work from: especially in the bowling department.

Also Stewart is a dedicated keeper and I'll fight anyone who tries to claim otherwise

You missed out the T20 legend Adam Hollioake. Oh wait, looks like @El Loco missed him too.

Graeme Hick needs to be there too. With an average over 36 and strike rate of 156 after 37 T20 games, all of which were played during his late 30s/early 40s, you really wouldn't want to pass him over for an English T20 squad despite whatever he did at Test level.
